George's Hilltop Loft is a one-bedroom, one-bath, pet-friendly apartment situated on 1 acre in beautiful northern Michigan. Sleeps 4 (two adults and two small children). The location is central to Traverse City, Manistee, and Cadillac, providing an ideal base to explore everything the region has to offer.

Amenities Include sleeping accommodations for 4, a full kitchen, linens, grill, fire pit, and a seven-acre dog run area. We had a great time staying at this property. We were up for the week while visiting Crystal Mtn. with the kids. Extremely convenient location just a few minutes down the road from Crystal. We had no problem checking in or out and the space was as described. The main bed was comfortable and the kids had room to setup their cots in the living room. This was our choice to use cots vs. using the supplied pull out bed. The kids do not like sleeping in the same bed. Having a dryer on site was key in keeping snow gear dry and ready for the next morning. Overall great experience. If you are looking to save a few dollars and do not mind driving the few minutes over to crystal, this is the place for you.

Nice grounds to explore on the property, as well as nice amenities inside and out. There were other properties/guests there, but since we were in the back on the hill, it felt very private.

Great landing spot

Close to everything we wanted to do and such a nice quiet town. The apartment was very well equipped and having laundry on-site was a huge bonus! Communication was easy and everything was seamless.

A great weekend get-away

Everything about this spot was as expected. It was clean when we arrived. Plenty towels in the bath (and decent water pressure and immediate hot water!). Plates, silverware, pots, etc, in the kitchen. It was cozy and exactly what we were looking for. The only drawbacks were a very strong smell that had me opening the windows immediately upon entering and the bed was terrible. The mattress was worn out and I kept waking up in the center of the bed at the lowest point. The bed and smell weren't bad enough to keep me from returning, but something I would note to anyone thinking of staying there. I LOVED not having a list of cleaning duties like at all other homes I've stayed at. Overall, I recommend it this cute home. Thanks to the Meyers family for a pleasant weekend away.

Clean, Comfy and Cozy

This was a beautiful place to stay! The loft was lovely, clean, beautifully appointed, with peaceful surroundings. We would definitely stay here again. On a scale of 1-10 this one is a 10! Thanks for a great weekend. P.S. check out the Laughing Horse Saloon in nearby Thompsonville. Sit at the bar. Food, drinks and staff are great.

Lovely, peaceful little getaway`

We were looking for somewhere off the grid to vacation for our anniversary, cat in tow, and George's Hilltop was perfect. Very clean, simple but comfortable surroundings, beautiful countryside - overall it was just what we needed.
