Hidden in the trees at the end of a long private driveway, our Geodesic Dome House offers a unique Oregon Coast adventure. Nestled on just over an acre, it provides the ultimate getaway for those seeking a one-of-a-kind vacation experience. Fully renovated, this property beautifully blends industrial modern design with natural surroundings, creating a tranquil escape you’ll cherish forever.

Enjoy the outdoor kitchen and dining area, gather around the firepit, and soak in the peaceful surroundings for an unforgettable coastal retreat.
House Rules & Policies:

Guests must be at least 21 years old to book. If you have no prior positive reviews on Airbnb, we may not be able to approve your reservation request.

We’re proudly pet-friendly! There’s no charge for the first two pets; each additional pet is $50 per stay. We simply ask that you vacuum any excessive pet hair and promptly clean up after your furry friends.

Absolutely no parties are allowed. Unauthorized parties, smoking, loud disturbances, or disruptive gatherings will result in a $500 fee and may involve local authorities. We take the peace and safety of our property and neighbors seriously.

The house was immaculate and so cute. It was very pet friendly with food and water dishes, and a pet room underneath the steps, all that was lacking was the pet and some food to feed them. Large outdoor space, 2 sets of tables and chairs. Very private. Would love to return when we are in that area.

We took our grandkids to Coos Bay to see the holiday of lights. When searching for a vrbo, the Dome house came up. We all agreed it looked like a fun place to stay. Not only was it a very cool house, the owner Tim was quick to answer questions. The house was clean, beds were very comfortable, and it had everything we needed to enjoy our stay! Loved the floors, and loved that we were able to take our grandogs. Kitchen had all we needed and was fully stocked with kcups, tea and creamer. We highly recommend staying at the Dome house! I can't believe how nice this place is, let alone for the price. Absolutely blown away by the details and love put into decorating this home. The trees surrounding this property make it feel like it's alone in another world. Truly awesome place and will definitely be recommending to others, and staying again.

Outstanding vacation rental!

Great place

We stayed here a couple night for a swim meet. Beds were super comfy and our kids loved the fun shower with all the jets. Owners were super great and accommodating for our dog as well. Will definitely stay again if we are back in town!

Property was quiet and wonderful for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the big city and work. Great space to relax inside or out for a cup of coffee of tea anytime of the day. Don’t let the neighborhood put you off they seem to keep to themselves and respect renters coming and going.

Loved this hidden gem

We truly enjoyed our stay in the dome! It is definitely the cleanest & most updated place we have ever stayed in. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need and the place was absolutely spotless. We only wish we could have stayed longer & taken advantage of the outdoor seating & bbq area. This place is top notch and made us feel like we were in a 5 star hotel. Host was friendly & communicated with us quickly. Would definitely recommend & would return if in the area.

Very cool little spot. Clean, comfortable and stylish. Tucked away just enough off of the road for a nice private getaway. A few minutes away from Bastendorf Beach and a few minutes away from downtown Coos Bay. Had a blast. Would definitely recommend.

What a gem!

Dome is a hidden gem! Can’t imagine staying in a cooler place in this area. The dome is so well done - cool and functional layout, modern finishes, nice amenities in a coastal mini forest. The home was incredibly clean. The bedding and bathroom linens were so comfortable. The hosts have thought of everything you might need. We didn’t cook but looks like they provided everything we need to do so (beyond the actual food - just oil, salt & pepper). The coffee maker was nicely stocked. We didn’t use the laundry room which featured large machines. The office desk nook was a great spot for my kids to draw and play their switch. They loved the loft and their large bathroom. Great heat and water pressure in the large showers. The outdoor seating was comfortable and cute. The neighborhood is far from glamorous but the foliage disguises other properties so it didn’t matter in the end. Our goal was to visit the state parks and this location was convenient for us in that regard. All around wonderful stay - highly recommend.
