"I traveled to Statesville for work to go to a weeklong class. I wanted to do something different instead of a hotel. This apartment was HUGE, very spacious, clean, smelled amazing, and very well decorated. Very well designed from a magazine. It's above a bookstore in an old building so there is exposed brick, ducts, and ceiling beams. The flooring is real wood through out. "The house and pier are nice Plenty of room all around "

"We stayed for 4 days at this peaceful lake side house! Beautiful and comfortable, clean and was exactly as described. Kitchen well stocked if you do want to cook, also a grill available. Beds very comfortable, quiet at night. Bathrooms wonderful, large master shower. The patio was our favorite place! Sitting in the evenings and watching the water was very peaceful. Great communication with the owners and very easy check in. The drive is steep, my only suggestion would be steps from the parking...

"Parking was convenient even for our F-350. Plenty of room for folks to spread out in the living area and kitchen. Upstairs suite would be a PLUS PLUS for family gatherings as you have privacy in your own sitting area, etc up there. Would not recommend for someone with climbing issues/knees/hips etc as steps go up to the main floor and then lots of steps to top suite. But we are in our mid 70s and did NOT have any issues of same. Recommend this VRBO, we do. "

"Everything was great. I would just recommend TVs in the bedrooms. I have PTSD so I need the noise to help me sleep and many others with this condition need it as well. The property is beautiful. I would love to come back to see the castle finished."

"The house was lovely. Lots of rooms, comfortable beds, a nicely appointed kitchen games to keep everyone entertained. The kids loved sitting in the deck talking to the wee hours and we all enjoyed floating in the water. The water was WARM… it was clear it hadn’t rained in a while because the water was low, but we enjoyed it thoroughly."

"The house was very well decorated and furnished. My only complaint was there were no check out instructions. There are actually more amenities than listed on the listing. There is a kitchen and hot tub that were not mentioned or pictured. The lake views and cleanliness were outstanding."
