"Absolutely beautiful property. Super comfortable room with great bed and shower. Lovely decor throughout the place with a very tasteful mix of modern and original fittings. Some really thoughtful luxuries: they leave out a scrumptious cake and have a bar with open access to all manner of imbibing options for the evening. Just scribble down what you took. "The accommodation is luxurious and beautiful. We certainly felt pampered and welcome. The special touches are numerous and the staff members are clearly trained to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. "This place has enormous potential. Gorgeous location, beautiful buildings and rooms. But their must be a lack of budget: no comfortable general area's, no patio furniture, no fridge, hairdryer etc. The place is mainly a wedding venue, which offers problems for other guests."

"Beautiful, large rooms, great breakfast, and kind staff and owner. Located at edge of B-Kaap, which makes it convenient to get to City Bowl, De Waterkant, and many other neighborhoods. Will stay here again! "

"Such a unique hotel! So eclectic and warm at the same time. Service was amazing and the room was impeccable. I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it. "

"Can’t recommend this hotel enough. We had such a lovely stay. The rooms were huge and the balcony was a huge added plus. Everyone working there was so friendly and went out of their way to help us. The location is beyond perfect- it’s super safe and walkable to the V&A and Oranjezicht market. Some reviewers negatively compared it to the neighboring Queen Victoria hotel, but we actually preferred how close the Dockhouse is to the pool area. We’ll definitely stay again on our next trip to Cape...
