"The Red Earth Motel is an excellent choice to stay. Nestled a short walk from the centre of Broken Hill with east parking outside your door, we opted for a spa room, with is comes a kitchenette, king bed and decent size bathroom with tv in the living room and another in the bedroom area, as well as decent heating for a cold winters stay. Will recommend to travellers "

"Great stay. Place is as advertised. Luxury under Canvas. We travelled with 3 kids. We have good hosts - David and Tanya who are very good and sensitive to little details. Place has a good setup. Not sure if it was a booking mistake or app error but the hosts provided breakfast despite that. Will visit again if we come to longreach."

"We have stayed with Steve and Deb many times, the Flinders never loses its appeal. This time we invited our UK friends for a taste of the outback, we had 4 days in the Flinders, plenty of time to checkout the gorges etc. Unfortunately it rained and rained and we were restricted to the sealed roads only, sometimes the best laid, and longest laid plans just don't work out, perhaps next time."

"It was a unique experience. Outdoor baths were a treat, but our bed was a bit saggy. Close to Stockmans Hall of fame and Qantas museum but too far to walk to town."

"Steve and Jodie Wallace were so helpful and kind to us especially on our first night. Our train arrived very late & then no luck finding a late meal. We called them for advice on an alternative which they were able to offer. Steve also kindly put the heater on in our room which was so appreciated. The start to 3 lovely days in Broken Hill. Thank you "
