"Clean, pristine, clean, safe, impeccably managed, clean. Did I mention clean? This motel was a breath of fresh air on our road trip. We have been staying in a few motels that review as clean, and mostly they are, but there's usually somewhere they let themselves down (ie grotty mould around the bottom of showers). "The staff at the reception is nice and cordial. The property is old but spacious. Our room is without view but close to the kitchen. There is a wonderful cafe house neighboring the hotel and in the morning it is full of customers and you can get a sense of community. Riverside boardwalk under the hotel building is an additional advantage to this property. "
