Unique Historic Mountain Cabin In Beautiful Como

A beautiful mountain cabin with hot tub near Boreas pass has spectacular views of the Rocky Mountain range. Located only 35 miles from Breckenridge minutes to Park and Summit County has everything to offer in our mountain towns. This one bedroom, one bath fully remodeled, awesome loft and 2 twin beds perfect for the children. A full kitchen and a cozy family room you will feel right at home in our sweet cabin. We provide maps, games, free wifi and local knowledge of the surrounding area.



Our cabin in Como is only 35 miles from Breckenridge, 45 minutes to the hot springs in Buena Vista, and 20 minutes to 14`ers Mt Democrat, Lincoln and Democrat.



Local wildlife is abundant. We are outdoor enthusiasts friendly. We have traveled all over the world, mainly to areas with spectacular natural environments and have received great hospitality. We hope to provide travelers and vacationers with all of things we value most in our accommodations when we travel.



We have furnished the house with all the items we use on a regular basis to support outdoor adventuring and make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. Our house has ample room for you to spread out all of your gear and local guide books to help you plan for your next day’s adventure.



To help after your day in the mountains, we have a high capacity washer & dryer and lots of hanging hooks to organize or dry out all of your gear. We are both avid adventures and can give suggestions on the area’s best climbs, skis and hikes. Cabin has both propane heat and a great wood burning stove for your enjoyment.



After your day exploring Summit and Park county you will enjoy our home`s open living space which invites togetherness and easy conversation.



You will have our cabin all to yourself. Please feel free to use the wood burning stove as all firewood is provided!



We generally are able to help with whatever comes up. We can also provide great local knowledge of activities, restaurants, etc. in the area. We have experience with downhill skiing, back country skiing, climbing, canyoning, hiking, rock climbing, biking, and most other outdoor activities in the area.



We love dogs here in Colorado and your pet is welcome anytime! However we do have a few rules for your furry friend to follow:

- Please have your pet stay off the furniture.

- Please clean up after your pet. Please bag all waste.

- Please keep the barking and chewing under control

- Please do not leave your pet unattended.

- Please keep all your pets food inside at all times. Lot of wild animals in the area.

- There is a $50 pet cleaning fee. This covers the cost of the extra steps our cleaning crew must take to ensure the unit is sparkling clean for our next guest. Please leave this on the counter in cash upon departure.

Quick Family Visit

Como is a little slice of heaven that most won't be lucky enough to experience. I grew up spending summers at our family "cabin" but this trip my own little family opted to stay at the Little Blue and we loved it! It was the perfect size and had all the amenities we needed. The hot tub was an added bonus on a chilly night!

Quaint cabin in historical town

Lots of character in town and cabin itself. Plenty of space, the kids loved the loft and the master bed was so comfortable. Like sleeping on a cloud. The fireplace kept us more than cozy, it was fun and very efficient. Lots of condiments and spices, and cookware. We managed to make homemade gumbo with the vegetables and sausage we brought. We loved visiting the Como graveyard. Very beautiful. Small Maintenance issue was addressed promptly. Interesting books on bookcase from mining and gold panning, to graveyards, and influential historical people from the area. About 15mins from Fairplay and 40mins from Breckenridge. We had a wonderful weekend.

This house fit our family perfectly. Great location. Big kitchen! Anytime we needed anything Zori was quick to respond. We cannot wait to come back again!!

Significant Safety Concerns

I was disappointed that this home uses a wood burning fireplace, but had no operational smoke detector, fire extinguisher or CO2 detector. The home's foundation is compromised, so it leans. Items in the fridge fall out when you open the door because the slant is so significant. Duct tape holds the kitchen faucet together. The photo of the bathroom was not adequate/accurate. There were no functioning lightbulbs in the bathroom, which made using it after dusk nearly impossible. The outhouse was more comfortable than the indoor bathroom. Light fixtures were covered in spider webs. Hot tub had lots of sand it in and hadn't been properly cleaned or serviced. We had a two night reservation, but left after one because of the above.

A wonderful getaway

The cabin was perfect-clean, cozy, and welcoming with a great kitchen. Our getaway to Como was just what we hoped for-lots of quiet, solitude, and beautiful scenery.

This was the perfect cozy cabin for our fishing weekend! It was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hot tub was a huge highlight and very well kept.
