"It was absolutely wonderful! Hosts were amazing and the food was great."

"Easy check in and the hostess was friendly and helpful. The room had pretty much anything you could wish for in it. Very well equipped room, lovely linen and a super comfy bed with different firmness of pillows. Nespresso machine, mini fridge, DAB radio, large TV, Dyson fan, Iron, Hairdrier, all great! Checkout was easy the next day. Just a shame we couldn’t have stayed for longer and made better use of everything. Many thanks! "

"Very nice hotel. Probably the top one in the area. Great garden, clean room, nice furniture. Areas to improve: the desk was a little small. The bedroom door was heavy & knob was in a strange location - you may get your fingers trapped if you are closing the door without thinking."

"The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a late afternoon walk on the country lanes of Middle Wallop. I want to mention a few things that did not bother us but may matter to other potential guests: - Room ("the family room"): because it was directly above the pub, we could hear music clearly through the floor until the pub closed. "I arrived with a blown out tyre only to find that I was actually booked into the northbound hotel not the south bound one. Staff were amazing swapped my booking over to the southbound one helped me organise a mobile tyre company and were kind and compassionate."

"Beautiful hotel and surroundings. Really friendly staff. Great for guests with pets. Great information on arrival. Slept great. Even though there were lots of guests it was very quiet. Would definitely stay here again and recommend other people to stay here."

"It was a lovely clean room,with air con,only problem I found was the curtains were hanging off the wall.Apart from that I was happy to stay there. The bar and restaurant were closed for refurbishment which I wasn’t aware of,however it maybe on the booking site and I must of missed it."
