Mary Kay conference weekend

We stayed just 1 night but the place was in a beautiful and secure apartment building with a parking garage around the corner. I highly recommend it!

Good stay but definitely needs some changes!

People seemed nice but not very communicative!First off parking is 20 per car. I asked about it and I got no response. Don’t know if I was missing something or what. Dishwasher was filled with dishes but I believe they were clean. The sink had a grease ring around it in kitchen. Both bathroom showers had mold on curtains and walls. Coffee pot was dirty. The sofa had a cover on it that kept coming off and cushions under had splits in them. It was very hot when we got in and it took forever for it to cool down. We couldnt open windows to help. The carpet needs cleaned it was very dirty. Most lamps didn’t work and the ones that did, didn’t even have switches on them. The TV in bedroom wouldn’t work. This place needs an overall update! It has so much potential!!The area is perfect!

Better than the pictures

This was a family trip to see the Lion King broadway show at the Ohio theater and I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The apartment is way more beautiful and spacious than the pictures show. It has tall ceilings and bright windows. Everything in the apartment was very organized, we were not sure about how to use the garage pass at first but our host answered all of my questions promptly. There couldn’t be a more convenient location, the building is in the heart of downtown Columbus and walking distance to the Ohio theater, restaurants and a park like area right on the back of the building which was great for walking out small dog. If we ever stay in Columbus again I will not hesitate booking with Joniqua again. We loved it. Thank you so much.

Downtown

Communicated with host just before arrival to get code and instructions, she was quick to respond. We used a code to buzz in, unloaded while parked in front of apartment complex, then used a key card for access to parking garage that was less than 1 block away. Apartment was very spacious, each bedroom had own bath and shower. 2nd bedroom has 2 beds. We were about 6 min from Convention Center with plenty of shops and restaurants in between. The kitchen sunk had a small spray whe turned on. Otherwise great spot to stay.

Columbus Marathon Stay

This property has the potential to be a very nice place to stay if a little more attention was given to the unit. Pros: (1) Location - right downtown and within walking distance of restaurants, etc. Was very close to the marathon route which was our goal. (2) Spacious (3) Has two separate bedroom/bathroom suites and bathrooms are nice. (4) can accommodate several people: unit with King and 2 queen beds right downtown is hard to find. (5) Felt safe - secured large apartment complex. Cons: (1) Cleanliness and condition - living area carpet is very stained, small hole in one of the bedspreads - looked for replacement but the extra one in closet was stained/didn't look clean, rugs and carpeted areas need cleaned/replaced (2) Lack of supplies - no soap/shampoo provided, several light bulbs out in bathrooms, lacked basic kitchen supplies: no drinking glasses (had to use coffee cups/wine glasses for glass of water), no kitchen towels, minimal cooking supplies, no standard supplies (tinfoil, plastic wrap, ziplock bags etc.) (3) Furniture in living room is minimal and not in good condition (recliner has several rips) (4) Unloading is a little challenging with the parking garage around the corner. Thankfully we didn't have an issue parking on the street in front of the building while we made several trips up with our bags/supplies. Final thoughts: With a little effort in cleanliness and a relatively small investment in this property, this could in the future be 4+ review .
