Cottage with pool in historic downtown

Smithville is a quaint, thriving city with a very relaxing feel. It has numerous outdoor activities within 30 minutes if you enjoy hiking, canoe/kayaking, biking, fishing, etc. The cottage is within walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops. The town offers many great boutiques and antique stores.The cottage is a block from famous homes featured in the movies, Hope Floats and The Tree of Life. You can see the Hope Floats house from the porch! Come unwind and enjoy the small town life!

The cottage is a generously sized space that boasts two comfortable full beds, a convenient kitchenette, and a private bathroom. Nestled within its confines is a cozy yard enveloped by a 6 ft. privacy fence, ensuring your seclusion and tranquility. Moreover, the cottage is just a few steps away from a refreshing private pool, offering easy access to leisure and relaxation.

Owner lives on property. We interact with guest as little or as much as they prefer.

No lifeguard on duty. Use pool at own risk. Children 18 and under must be supervised by an adult at all times while they are in the pool.
The cottage and pool are for paying guest only. Do not invite guests who are not on the rental agreement. Quiet hours are between 10 pm and 7 am.

This gem is tucked away in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. The host is a great communicator and we felt like we were living our best life! Swimming in the private pool at sunset, every amenity and then some at our disposal and restful sleep. We enjoyed great proximity to museums, Austin and the cute town of Smithville. Would return for sure!

Great weekend getaway

My 82-year-old mother, my aunt, and I stayed the weekend at this house. It had everything we needed! The only drawback is that my mom could have used some handrails in the bathroom. The house is located in a very quiet and historic neighborhood. The property manager was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. We highly recommend staying there.

Lovely stay

Such a quiet and relaxing little retreat! Very clean, nicely appointed with insanely comfortable beds. The cottage was larger than anticipated and a great place to relax. Great privacy and lots of outdoor space to enjoy.

Comfortable and clean place to stay. The landscape was lovely as was the pool. Didn’t get to enjoy either very much due to the weather, but can see how they would be very nice if the time of the year was right. Very quiet property and well maintained. Bed was comfortable.

Wonderful place to stay.

We wanted to get away for a last minute weekend before school started up again. This was a great little place for my wife and two kids age 8 and 6. We have never spent time in Smithville but we are so glad we did. We will be back not only to Smithville but to this little cottage.

Bestie weekend perfection

The cottage was perfect for our best friend weekend. Smithville is an amazing small town with great people. The cottage is convenient to everything and we enjoyed every inch of it. The pool was wonderful on the hot summer evenings after days of shopping.

This is my sevond time here. The cottage is adorable. Pool and fire pit are very relaxing. Neighborhood is so quiet. It is close to downtown and enjoyable wineries are near by. Grill is very handy. Will definitely stay again.

Great Place to Stay in Smithville!

This cottage is in a great location in the historic part of Smithville, in a beautiful neighborhood. It has easy access to downtown. It feels secluded and has a well kept pool right out the front door. It was very clean. We appreciated the professionalism and kindness of the owners. We will definitely plan to stay here again!
