Welcome to "The Buena Vista" by Lyv Properties, in Midtown, Columbus, Georgia! Here, you can experience all the flair of the Tri-City area. From the vibrant sounds of Midtown, to the comforts of a Southern evening on a deck. Come experience this take on a Southern home from our perspective. Our aim is to provide you at least one relaxing night without a worry in the world. We hope you enjoy "The Buena Vista".
The space
We've tried to create a home away from home with a comfortable, practical layout with everything you need. The bedrooms are upstairs, approx. the same size with a queen sized bed in each. Each have their own private bathroom. There is a half bath downstairs, a wet bar, pull out sofa bed (queen), upstairs & downstairs outdoor deck/porch, a fully equipped kitchen and, hopefully, anything else you need throughout the house. We hope you enjoy your stay at The Buena Vista!

There aren't any shared spaces requiring guest access. The place all yours.

Nice space.

Inside was as expected based on descriptions and pictures. Especially enjoyed the living, dining room areas and kitchen. We were visiting family in the area, and had them to “our place” for dinner twice. The kitchen was lacking a bit for serving or baking, but has all the basics. Beds and the couch very comfortable. Good hot water and water pressure in showers!

Was nice needs a bigger coffee pot we love our coffee. Easy to get too. Driveway a little steep but ok. Was clean but could be cleaner. Beds and couch quite comfortable. Thanks and I will rebook in October. Sincerely Marie

Great Place to stay!

We chose this place for the NAIA softball national championship, which was incredibly close to the field. The owner was accommodating, and we encountered no problems with the property. If we ever return to this area, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

I would like to thank the host for providing such a wonderful cozy home for my family and I during our stay. The host was very attentive by checking in to see if anything was needed upon our arrival. I would highly recommend this home to anyone that is looking for a place to stay.

Generous, spacious property

The property manager is actually the owner (as VRBO used to be) and Nisha was extremely generous with her time and support of our family in town for a military graduation. The Buena Vista was well-stocked, well-proportioned and generously spacious with nicely remodeled areas and comfortable accommodations at every level. The beds were especially comfy and all linens were high quality. Plenty of room throughout for our soldier to have time to himself as well as family games, movies and meals together.

Restful vacation

Stayed at The Buena Vista with my parents. It was the perfect size for us to have space apart when we needed it and together space when we wanted it. Everything was as pictured. The beds were comfortable, and the water was hot and plentiful. We would stay here again.

Bottom line, would stay again

It's not perfect but if that's what your looking for you can definitely find and pay for perfect. We heard a lot of not so good things about the Columbus area and the lodging so we were pretty worried about where we would end up. I would not say that this place is in a bad area. We felt perfectly safe staying there. There were a lot of nice touches added by the owner. We planned to do a lot of cooking for our soldier and the kitchen lacked some things but overall was well equipped. The owner communication is great and they are receptive to suggestions. (Few more..additional cookie sheets,potato peeler, lighter and flashlight) The deck in the pictures is actually off of the master bedroom and not the living area like you'd expect. It's still nice and there are lots of raccoons watch.

Pros- convenient proximity to most things, 2.5 bathrooms, 2 en suites, air conditioned, free Wi-Fi, very nice furniture, nice layout Cons- Very steep driveway, missing bricks along exterior stairs (hazard), mold on ceiling vents, mold on windows, moldy tea bags in kitchen, blinds quite dirty, key code not given until prompted just hours before check in, Wi-Fi password not listed (had to message to receive), overall exterior quite run down
