Beit Shalom - Guest suite for 6 with Sauna

This is an entire guest suite on the basement floor of our house, perfect for up to 6 guests. It has a private entrance with a cement walkway and is separated from our living quarters. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. It is located in a beautiful and safe neighborhood on the north side of town.

There are two bedrooms with king beds. Each bedroom has a spacious walk-in closet available for your use. In the living area there is also a queen size sofa sleeper bed. You will have a spacious bathroom with a shower/tub combo, and lots of room to get dressed and made up. There is a washer and dryer available with a near infrared 2 person sauna. The kitchenette has a full size refrigerator, a tabletop airfryer oven combo, induction heaters for pots and pans, a microwave, toaster, and blender. You will also have a Keurig coffee maker and a frother for all your coffee needs.

This is a 6 person suite, located in the heart of briargate, close to John Venezia Community Park (1 min), Air Force Academy (12 min.) Garden of the Gods (20 min), Downtown (18 min). It has 2 king size beds in spacious rooms with large walk in closets.

Beit Shalom was exceedingly clean, comfortable, and everything you need for a very pleasant stay! Easy check in, and we loved the sauna!

Great Location

We stayed at Beit Shalom for Parents’ Weekend. We all had an amazing stay. The unit was clean, and roomy. The location was perfect, it is in a very safe neighborhood, great walking trail and close to the park. We love it so much that we booked it again for our next trip to Colorado.

Spacious

Great stay. Close enough to USAFA to get back and forth easily. Beautiful park near by. Dishwasher works well when you smack him:) Internet and streaming wasn't great, but we were able to watch a show with intermittent pauses.

Host's Last-Minute Cancellation Left Us Stranded

Despite having booked this stay weeks in advance, I received a cancellation notification just 4 hours before check-in along with a message stating that my refund would be available in 3 business days. With family already on the way from out-of-state and nowhere to put them for the night (in freezing rain and snow), I was left scrambling to find new accommodations at the last minute (on Valentine's Day weekend) AND figure out how to pay for them while my money was tied up in Vrbo's refund process. I ended up having to take the afternoon off work to spend it on the phone with customer service, who kept assuring me that even though they couldn't connect me directly, the mysterious "Rebooking Team" would contact me soon and take care of everything. (They didn't.) After several hours and multiple calls, customer service finally deigned to get me a hotel for that night but left me hanging for the other two nights I'd originally booked. Ahmed, the last rep I spoke with (at about 10:30 PM) was so condescending and argumentative (as I tried to explain that we had a morning full of appointments the next day and needed to know whether we were going to be able to stay in the hotel or would need to check out) that I gave up and booked on another site -- only to find out when the Rebooking Team finally bothered to email me late the next day that Vrbo "[does] not reimburse a reservation made on a competitor site." So, I don't recommend booking this property. Or anything on Vrbo.
