"What an amazing find close to the airport! Edward was proactive in communicating and very hospitable. He picked us up at the airport and took us to our rental car the next day. Our room was spotless, spacious and minutes from the airport. We did not explore the area as we arrived late and left early the next morning. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if in the area. If you need an inexpensive clean room, this is the place to book. "

"We loved the place, quiet, clean and the owners were very nice to us. We stayed only one night. The next morning the lady gave us breakfast and we went our way to La Fortuna. We were able to have a fire pit at night it was very cool."

"This was our 4th trip to CR, and we have stayed in a different VRBO each time. This was the least-expensive home we have stayed in. While not luxurious, it was welcoming and comfortable. The gardens are stunning. My husband is a "pacer," and he spent lots of time strolling through the gorgeous hydrangeas, birds of paradise, etc. Hummingbirds and butterflies also enjoy the gardens. "My family of 7 stayed here for a couple of days & we all loved it!!! It's a beautiful home & the views were amazing!! We even had a sloth in the tree not far from the patio. All the bedrooms had AC the beds & pillows were comfortable so we slept really well. The pool room was a big hit with the kids!! The communication with the host was great so we highly recommend the property."

"It was perfect for me due to my requirements. The host replied quickly to any questions I had during my stay. This was much better than I expected and for our filming requirements. 10-15 minutes to airport, 45 minutes to Poasito, 2 hours to Jaco. It was like a home away from home."

The only issues were figuring out where the light switches were, getting the shower to turn on and the traffic noise levels. "Extremely good value for the price. It was clean and the beds were comfy.The only difficulty we had was finding the place. There is no civic numbers like in the US or Canada or numbers so it is difficult to find a house. Then there is locks everywhere and at night is very difficult to find the padlocks."

"The Tree House was a very nice and cozy cabin, with basic stuff for a short stay. While in a rural environment with trees and birds, it is near the town and has fairly good wifi."

"Youre right next to downtown alajuela, so everything is nearby. The cathedral, park, and market are all great places to visit. Great property, lots of light. The kitchen has everything but an oven, so you can bring food from the market and whip something up. It's true it's noisy but you're downtown, what can you expect? Bring noise cancelling headphones and do some people watching from the balcony. It's good."

"This place is exotic! 6 of us stayed here with plenty of space. The first day some of our group was ill and so we stayed in most of the day. It still felt like an exotic vacation. The views of the jungle, the wild life, and the plants are amazing on this property. We loved how much character the property and house has! The beds were so comfortable.
