"Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was plentiful and good variety. Had a major issue when we were told to evacuate in the middle of the night for 4 hours. Poor communication from the hotel staff. We were left sleeping in our car. The rest of our two days were without hot water, cold showers. Did not feel hotel management cared about us as guests. No follow-up after the incident. Would not recommend if you want a hotel with good communication and customer service."

"We have stayed at the Cook for camp five summers now. This is the first time I saw service levels lowered. The staff are great but this year we didn’t have room cleaning, towel service or trash removed for the four nights we stayed. Also, I have noticed the breakfast menu hasn’t changed in five years and can get a little boring.
