The house was perfect and the view was just what we wanted. Absolutely lived it

We absolutely loved Duck Nest! Not only was the property wonderful, but the owners were exceptional and very communicative. We stayed here with our brother's family (2 adults and 6-year-old) and our family (2 adults and 6-year-old) and it was the perfect set up. The owners left out snacks and the house was superbly clean. We enjoyed our morning beverages on the deck with the lovely view of the lake. The kids had a blast hanging out together (cousins - one in Tx and one in NC)with the bunk room being perfect for them. As weary travelers from NC, the owners were accommodating and made our stay easy. We were in town for a family wedding that was only 8 mins away from this house! We are so grateful for the opportunity to stay here.

We came to visit relatives for a few days. The Ducks Nest was a perfect place to stay. We loved the view of the lake and drank morning coffee on the deck every morning. Watching turtles, ducks and other wildlife was a treat. Plenty of room and very clean. The Host was always available with suggestions for places to visit and eat. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend others to stay.

The accommodations and attention to detail made the stay absolutely awesome. Serene setting with plenty of space for all guests. The host is incredibly thorough, thoughtful, and genuine. We will be back!

We were in town for a concert with family. We enjoyed the home as its clean, spacious yet cozy, in a easy to access location in a serene setting. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. The home has all the things you’d need in a kitchen. We really enjoyed the view of the lake and birds from the house and decks.
