"This was a fantastic place to stay for us while we explored Dublin. It’s a bit out of town which made it quiet but accessing it through public transit was easy enough. The village of Dalkey nearby was also great to explore. The staff were friendly and the amenities were great. Lots of food options at the hotel itself and pricing was reasonable and on par with other nearby options. We found this place more by accident rather than searching for it and were very happy with the outcome. Only...

"Booked this hotel as it was near where we were attending a family christening. Good communication from the hotel. But, they are undergoing refurbishment to all the sea view rooms, it didn't really detract from our stay though. The hotel does look dated and tatty from the outside but once inside it's very nice. Good friendly attentive staff. Would imagine that when it's refurb is finished it'll be a jewel along the seafront in Dun Laoghaire. "

"The staff were very friendly and we found the location easy to use with the public transit that ran frequently. The breakfast offerings were excellent and I’d recommend adding that option. We would return to this hotel and location without hesitation. "

"Parking can be a bit hard at times as hotel has no car park.Food is very good in the hotel especially breakfast.The staff are very friendly and service is very quick."

"The staff is great. The rooms are neat and the area is perfect. Only one issue came up with the taxes of the hotel charge were 200.00 extra. But that’s something internally between the hotel and Expedia and I was able to get it looked at on my end. All was well. Great people. Most importantly they were kind and generous. "

"Hotel vicino al porticciolo che s raggiunge con una breve e piacevole passeggiata. Stanza un po' piccola ma pulita e accogliente. Doccia bella grande. Colazione eccellente: prodotti freschi e di qualità. Si può scegliere tra la classica full irish a vari tipi di pesce cucinato al momento, uova in varie maniere, marmellate fatte in casa.. Da provare anche il loro ristorante, the Seafood bar, anche qui ottima qualità del pesce."

"It is a beautiful hotel and about a 15 minutes walk to St. Stephen’s green and Grafton street which was wonderful. We walked into town as a result and didn’t require a taxi or bus. "
