"This was a great place for two families to share a long weekend with all of our adult kids. Everyone had their own space and at the same time there were so many nice common areas to gather. We ended up with great weather, but if it hadn’t been nice outside we would’ve spent more time in the game room. Everyone enjoyed the space and great memories were made."

"We spent a week and enjoyed the house on Tainter Lake while spending time with family and friends. This was a second time using the rental and will be back. The location is close to Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls and Menomonie. We kayaked, made smores, played games and saw local sites. Great property for 3 generations to enjoy!"

"This is a perfect little cabin with a beautiful view of the lake. My favorite part was sitting at the end of the dock in a lawn chair, sipping coffee and enjoying a pastry while taking in the peaceful views of the lake near the Yellow River. Will be back for another stay later on this year. "

"We had plenty of room(s) for relaxing, visiting, game time and cooking/ eating. We never went out to eat because of our offsite family event in downtown Eau Claire, which was only 20 minutes away. We would stay there again. "

"Awesome property right on the lake. They have kayaks to use and nice fire pit. This is my 2nd time at this house and I'll keep coming back "

"Great house for a family stay. Close proximity to all amenities. Ample outdoor space with fire pit and well stocked firewood. Easy boat rental. Good communicators. Only negative was lack of access to laundry in house (there is a laundromat nearby but not super convenient when on vacation). Overall a positive experience! "

"It was as great as advertised! There was plenty of space and sleeping arrangements for all 12 of us to sleep comfortably. Karen was kind and clear about check-in and check-out instructions. The pool and back patio made it tough to want to stay in each day/night instead of enjoying the EC area. Thanks again for the stay!"

"My family and I rented this house for a week and it was the perfect place for us. The host, Andy, was great at communicating before, during and after our stay. He recommended restaurants and beaches, and contacted me after my niece left her journal when we left. The house itself is amazing. This was a special trip for my family as we don't take big vacations together often (last one was 10 years ago). "As the title states staying at the cottage was exactly what our family needed. The owners were very nice and communicative the place was clean and quiet. We had grandparents, my wife and I and our child but there's enough room here for all of us to enjoy family time but also each have our own space when needed.
