"This is a beautiful, historic property and pretty consistent with the photos on the website. The room I had was just as pretty with some antique furnishings, but of course in person you notice that it is an old building. The room was a great size, and I loved the hardwood floors. The bathroom was also large and you are provided a sundry of items for convenience. The bed was comfortable, though it did seem to have a center depression. The only other issue I had was that though the the showerhead...

"This in was such an unexpected find. From the outside it looks like an old fashioned roadside motel but they’ve done a beautiful renovation / upgrade and the rooms are spacious and modern with nice touches like healthy snacks , a good coffee machine, noise machine , super comfy bed. Bathtub is always a nice plus. Second surprise is that breakfast is all homemade and delicious. I mentioned on the phone that a family member has a dairy allergy, and there were 2 dairy free homemade baked goods...

"The house is a beautiful New England structure with a variety of rooms to choose from. Our room, the Gold room was luxurious and spacious with great light during the day. The "private bath" is across the hall requiring proper dress to exit the room and enter the bathroom. It's a small point but different nonetheless than in in-room bath. The heating function was a bit tricky since it is an older hot water heat register that takes some time to heat up or down so you need to be mindful of time...

"This is our second time staying here. We love the property, the suites work for us as there is a bedroom which is separate from the living space. There are plenty of things to do on the property and in the surrounding area. Mt. Greylock, antiquing, great breakfast spots! The Country Store on the property has great sandwiches and things needed for your stay."
