"The home was a nice place for our stay while visiting our son for his graduation from UC Davis. We also wanted to visit lake tahoe while here. The home was clean and located in a quite location. Has a nice view of the hills nearby and we saw deer, rabbits, quail , and plenty of turkeys every day."

"We’re from Los Angeles and didn’t know much about Placerville before our visit, but we were pleasantly surprised. There were plenty of activities nearby, and we enjoyed every single one. The house was spotless, and the owner was incredibly friendly. It was also conveniently close to downtown and local attractions.The only thing the house needs is a better WiFi. It’s super slow during our stay."

"We had a really nice stay in Pollock Pines. The house was clean with plenty of beds. The kitchen was very large and completely stocked for all our needs. We even made muffins for breakfast! I contacted the host to clarify check in details and directions before we left, and we had no problems. Kathleen gave us very detailed directions, and she always answered my messages promptly. We had a great time visiting with family!"

"Our extended weekend away, was absolutely amazing. Rose was very responsive, and easy to communicate with. Check process went smooth and easy. The kids had a blast playing soccer on the soccer field, enjoyed the swimming and game room. With so much to do for all ages, and personalities, there were no complaints. Everyone was so intrigued with the property, unplugging from phones, tablets and gaming was not even a second thought. Waking up to early morning sightings of deer and other wildlife was...

"Rented this house because I had a wedding to go to in Foresthill. Wow - this is like a treehouse -your view is the forest. The wrap around porch is where you spend most of your time - very tranquil and relaxing. I would highly recommend staying at this house if you need a getaway to be able to relax. Thank you for a wonderful visit."

"This was an excellent location for a retreat. It was expansive with plenty of places to gather and to be alone. There were plenty of large bedrooms and private bathrooms. The kitchen was perfect for group meal preparation. The game room was a fun space to turn off the work and enjoy some recreation."

"This was an excellent choice for a VRBO. Many members (younger) of our family were camping at Sly Park. The "older" relatives really enjoy being with them, however, want a home and cozy bed at night-- worked out perfect.
