"All was great. This is a working stable with horses and those many that have to care for horses, plus at least one friendly dog. You felt welcomed and that was appreciated. With a 15 minute drive you are in North Berwick and so close to John Muir park and Seacliff. Seacliff is special. The only, and minor, negative was that it was not a peaceful place when we were there- lots of tree trimming (Chain saw) and chipping- so very noisy at times. I would guess this is a rare event and suggested to...

"Great communication with the owner. Superb location with sea views from several rooms. Modern kitchen, comfortable beds, many amenities, off street parking and within a short walk to shops, pubs, etc. The personal touch from the owner was much appreciated as well. "

"Great location on the beach, 2 minutes walk to the High Street. Clean, comfortable and spacious (4 people) with a lovely sun room overlooking the beach and harbour. Parking is a bit tight, but we managed even with a large van. Only criticisms are lack of soaps/shampoos for the showers and no paper towels/tissues supplied. However, this seems to be the norm in Scotland and may be just my North American expectations not being met. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of."

"Lovely apartment which was beautifully furnished. Had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Lovely sea views and a short walk to the beach. Our grandchildren all had a great week and didn’t want to go home! Neither did we to be honest! Thanks so much. "

"Small but perfectly formed gem right on the beach. The whole family loved it here, including the dog. It was clean, bright but cosy in the evenings. I just wish we had been able to stay longer, genuinely sad to be going home. We will definitely be back"

"The location is very well situated near to the village center aswell as to the beaches. The appartment offers everything you need, although we would have appreciated having more toiletttissue and tabs for the dishwasher. The door to the bathroom and toilett can only be closed from the inner side, as the lock doesn't work properly. Overall the appartement is very cosy and clean. We had only problems to get rid of our trash, as we couldn't find the bin for the flat and aside of that were advised,...

"We stayed for a long weekend at North Berwick with my elderly Mother. The location is fantastic, being almost on the sea front with spectacular views out to Bass Rock.The house had everything we needed, with a large well equipped kitchen and two lounges.We chose Guillemots because we needed ground floor living accommodation for Mum. Whilst she managed the ground floor room with en suite, it isn't particularly set up for a disabled person, and so anyone doing similar may need to take grab rails...

"This place was lovely. Clean and bright. Instructions to get in and once inside were very helpful. The only thing that bothered me was the 3 bins of glass bottles, mostly alcohol bottles that were over flowing onto the ground outside the gate, in the parking lot. They were there the day we checked in , already overflowing and only got worse as we stayed for 4 days. They should look into that because otherwise this place was everything we wantes while on our vacation. Lovely!!"
