"We had a lovely stay in this apartment, very clean and well equipped. We will definitely be back. It’s very well placed for visiting Hadrians Wall. We travelled by train and found the bus service more than adequate for our needs. The bus stop is outside the apartment. Also there is a range of shops and eateries. On Wednesday in the market square there was a pop up rice van selling take away food."

"We have had an amazing weekend in the Barebones cabin. We took our 11 year old and 1 year old and both of them loved it. There was so much to explore, a little playground and a rope swing which kept both of them happy, not to mention some muddy puddles near the stream for plodding about in wellies.
