"I stayed in the Hayloft. My hosts could not have been more charming. The Hayloft was beautifully furnished and much care had gone into it. The one thing that I think let it down was the quality of the beds - 4 singles - the mattress lacked support and you could actually feel the springs in it. I think a mattress upgrade would match the high quality bedding that is provided. The only other thing was that the fridge was switched off and open when I arrived. "We booked a last minute break to escape the fireworks as our dog is petrified - it was so quiet here, it was perfect.The hosts were lovely and the welcome package was also a lovely surprise - tea bags, sugar, coffee, biscuits.The accommodation was spotlessly clean, there were others in the adjacent and next door accommodation but you would never know.Its in close proximity to Hay on Wye, hopefully we will return so we can explore more of the surrounding area.All in all we had a lovely short...

"Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. "

Small but perfectly formed and although the furniture is a little dated, it has everything you could possibly need. Real fire with plenty of wood. Well equipped kitchen and fairly new bathroom."

"We didn’t have hot water for our stay but the weather was nice all weekend so not too much of an issue. Never received the email with the check in number but thankfully the golf course staff were very helpful nearby. Overall it was well priced and in a great location for easy access to Hereford whilst still being in the countryside. Very peaceful location and friendly neighbours. Our two dogs had a great time staying there too!"

"Well maintained and characteristic property with exposed beams and period features combined with modern decor and facilities. The only thing to be aware of is there is no shower in either bathroom (likely due to low ceilings), although both have a mixer tap with a showerhead so you can sit / kneel and shower this way. Whilst its proximity to the road is close, it was not a busy road, so passing traffic was not an issue during our stay. There was a pub within 1min walk of the property that also...
