More than one rental apartment - some lovely and others less so
We only spent one night in the apartment shown with the old cart beneath it. The photo shows the balcony which is used by two apartments so the table and chairs have to be kept folded and there's little privacy as the only window is the door. There's table space for one apartment down where the old cart used to be. Not a great arrangement. I would therefore not choose the BERNON apartment again. However we moved to ODILON instead which was a million times better. Huge space, lots of windows and French windows. A pleasure to be there. The downside is that the balcony is directly above another apartment for four people and it was therefore not peaceful all the time. There are other places to sit or sunbathe however. The pool was in a beautiful setting and this was the high point.
High speed trains hurtle down the valley below but it is not too invasive. A very nicely maintained location but it is a shame that all the apartments are close together - currently 4 or 5. Each has a name but search engines don't come up with the whole offering so it's hard to get an idea of the layout and choose accordingly. If you want privacy and quiet this isn't the best place for you sadly.
