"I am super harsh when it comes to my hotels, but this one is one was one of the best i’ve ever stayed at. it is so clean, modern, and unique! great shower products (sald and stone) and also a mini fridge STACKED with treats. i am a travel agent, so ive seen some pretty nice hotels. you cant be the price, location, amenities, and service."

"Communication great, received messages about how to get in for my stay. Room clean tidy and had everything I needed for my stay. Was very grateful for the water when I arrived and appreciated the snacks that were left. Washing machine tumble dryer and ice machine available in out building. Lovely big tv and loved being able to play records when I arrived and getting packed to leave. Great stay!"

"Spacious! Our "room" had a kitchen and huge living room. Loved the parking garage under the building, super safe and secure. We enjoyed our stay!"

"Breakfast was ok. Lots of choices but not always refilled. One day ran out of coffee cups both mugs and disposable cups. Housekeeping also somewhat uneven. Did not always replace all the towels and often did not leave them in the bathroom. Didn't replace shampoo or conditioner. Front desk staff were very helpful."

"I love the River Inn on Harbor Island. It reminds me of an older stately hotel like the Omni Grove Park Inn and the Martha Washington Inn. However, it is quite dark and the toilets are short (as in 14-15 inches high. So please take this into consideration. The restaurants here and around the hotel are terrific. But the best part has to be the employees that work there. Very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable of the area. We prefer this to the Peabody which is the only other hotel we have...

"The Peabody is the Peabody,,,, steeped in history and grace. Our room was small but well accomidated. Our biggest problem was that the room phone did not work at all. So, we were not able to call down to have a luggage cart brought to our room, or order any kind of room service. I tried to mention this to our room attendant,but.. alas, she did not speak English at all. Dinner was great, no complaints there. The ducks were right on time......."
