"My stay at Lanehead old school was fantastic. The owners Lisa and Chris were lovely and extremely helpful. My car broke down on the way there and they offered to pick me up. They then offered to pick me up from the garage I had my car towed to. Excellent hosts. It was like staying with old friends! I can't recommend the place highly enough!"

"No evening meal due to chef needing time off, staff seemed to have no idea what was happening. Only food available in the area was pizza at a hostel across the road. Breakfast room opened at 8:30 and consisted of help yourself Coco pops, croissants or toast, if you had an early start, nothing. Overall a very poor experience."

"Lovely location and great beer garden. Beds were comfortable and clean. The main issue in the bedroom was the very low water pressure in the shower making it almost impossible to have a decent shower. The other issue was the slow service in the restaurant. It was busy when we first arrived so that was fair enough but even when it died down it was still very slow and we could see our drinks waiting at the bar but no one to bring them over until we asked. "Big, clean comfortable room. Marvellous staff, so friendly and would do anything to help you enjoy your stay. Lovely town and Corbridge Roman town just a short walk away. Perfect location for exploring Northumberland’s Roman history. Large car park, ideal to leave car, explore town and visit historic Pele tower. "

"The ground floor apartment could have been cleaner and better equipped! The parking was tight, the upstairs neighbours were a bit noisy. The bed was comfy but would have been better if it was bigger as the rooms are quite spacious! Pet friendly."
