"Excellent stay at Silver Birch. The bed was extremely comfy and the tree house was really well equipped and well furnished. Hot tub was lovely to appreciate the views. Only minor points we would make would be the shower was a little disappointing compared to how luxurious everything else was. Also the spiral stairs to the hot tub felt quite loose, not the safest option. "

"Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+"

"The perfect accommodations for our visit to experience the real and true Scotland countryside? Aileen and Bob were very welcoming and so very helpful in guiding our ins and outs of being visitors and making our stay more like being new neighbors. At the end of our stay we were wishing that we would have made our stay much longer. We definitely recommend this perfect little cottage for a real Scottish experience! "Very spacious and comfortable house in a lovely, quiet location. The bedrooms are all a generous size, as is the well-equipped kitchen (we managed to prepare a 7-course meal for the 6 of us). It's a short and delightful drive from the house to the heart of the Cairngorms. And don't miss paying a visit to the friendly Persie gin distillery just 5 minutes from the house"

"Die Unterkunft liegt zentral und man kann von dort zu vielen tollen Unternehmungen starten. Tolle Landschaft, Castles und andere schöne Orte. Man kann direkt von der Unterkunft zum Cairn Leuchan hochwandern. Ballater ist ein sehr schöner Ort. "

"Fabulous well-located property. Very convenient for exploring Deeside. The large eat-in kitchen had everything we needed to cook and gather together. Plenty private spaces for spreading out and enjoying a little peace and quiet, too. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms had everything we needed. Communication with Anna was perfect throughout. Highly recommend!"
