"We really enjoyed the open layout & multiple beds to have our annual girls weekend. The large kitchen was nice to not have to eat out every meal. Couldn't find the toaster though, and the filtered water spigot at the sink was leaking into the sink with little water pressure to actually fill a cup. "

"Black bear lodge was the perfect home away from home for our family of 5 (kiddos age range 6 years to 9 months). Check in couldn't have been easier, even for a first time vrbo guest! Communication with Cory was quick and helpful. We appreciated the extra amenities such as coffee and coffee filters, shampoo and conditoner, condiments and butter, paper towels, dish soap and sponge. My favorite part was the view, without a doubt, I could have sat on the deck our whole visit. "

"The pool and hot tub was so popular with all ages and added to our fun. The size was great. It did not meet expectations in the following We had to clean the countertops and the fully stocked kitchen had poor quality and very used non stick pans. Also the silverware was 1 fork, 2 spoons and 8 knives. Garbage dumpster was a 6 mile or so drive and down a long driveway. We did not have room to transport the garbage the last day and ended up leaving it in the cabin We are not use to fancy and made...

"We’ve stayed at this property multiple times and throughly enjoyed our stay. WiFi was added since our last stay and it was a wonderful upgrade for us to bring our Roku. As others have mentioned there are multiple trains daily which we knew about. There is one around 7-7:20am which you should be aware of. This stay the sheets were a little more worn and there was more pet hair but the master bed was very comfortable. We would recommend staying here and probably will again. "

"We rented the whole house for the weekend. Perfect location for hosting the family and friends of the groom for a nearby wedding. A lot of beds to accommodate everyone. And plenty of open space to gather and have fun. While also plenty of space to have quiet time away from others. Suggest they build out a full bath on the lower level (cell area). Also need more "soft" seats. "

"Loved our stay at the farmhouse! We had more than enough dishes and cookware for our stay. The beds were so comfortable. We were all fast asleep as soon as we hit the pillows. It was nice to be back in a farmhouse and you can see they took care to show the history and labor of love the home was. There were little things here and there that reminded me of my grandparents farmhouse and it was nice to reminisce."
