"We had a lovely weekend in the Shepherd's hut. Very cosy. It is in a very rural position but only a short drive from Beccles and Bungay- we loved the foodie shops in Bungay and the on-site farm shop.
It was great to pop out in the morning to grab still warm eggs from the chicken coop, and the goats and piglets kept us thoroughly amused. A really relaxing stay."

"It started badly when, upon entering the room, there was a smell of cigarette smoke. Clearly, the room should have been decommissioned until it could be properly cleaned and fumigated.
As the property operates on an automated basis (the key is retrieved from a key safe with a code supplied by email), there was no receptionist on duty. Luckily, we managed to find a helpful cleaner who was still on the premises, who was able to arrange for an alternative room.
Although better, the room did not...

"I recently stayed here with my two children and this was the first time we have stayed in an apartment instead of a hotel. The communication from Jamie was highly responsive and he answered all of my questions promptly. Our initial impression of the property is that it was very clean, the fridge was immaculate and bedding very clean plus there is a washing machine, which made life easier with my two messy eaters.
