"A charming older hotel. Our room was large enough for a king bed and 2 people. Staff was available and helpful. The hotel is centrally located on on the edge of Golden Gate park. Lots of dining options are nearby.
Wi Fi was weak in our room but strong in the lobby. Free breakfast was ok. Wine happy hour was fun."

"I will absolutely stay again, but they provide only a bath towel, no face towel or hand towel. There's no paper or little plastic cup. So I'm sucking water out of the tap. "We stayed here because of the complimentary parking, but our room, 229 was in terrible shape the was a large rip in the carpeting and cigarette burns as well, The bathroom was tiny and the toilet was sitting on the toilet tank. The room appeared to have never been updated, and some of the advertised features were missing (refrigerator). The neighborhood was depressing and we basically just rushed out of there after sleeping. Very disappointed in the room, and would not stqy here again/"

Housekeeping was offered only every other day, which was inconvenient to begin with. Because of my schedule, I asked whether my room could be cleaned early on a housekeeping day. The front desk employee with red hair was chatting with a friend who had stopped by, and I had to interrupt their conversation to ask. She said rooms for departing guests...

"The room was clean and the people were friendly. But that’s about all I can say. No one really seemed to know what was going on or how to help us when things in our room didn’t work. Like the tv, or when we (ourselves) got the tv itself to work but not the streaming. They have a water dispenser in the hallway to refill water bottles which would be a nice amenity except it took five minutes to fill up a small water bottle.
