"Cool place"

"The place was great! Annie was awesome to work with. It's a beautiful quiet lake. I've been coming to this lake for years. But first time staying here. We loved it. Plenty of room for everyone. There is no Internet, but it was actually kinda nice. Took the kids sometime to get used to that . It was fun watching DVD's and VHS with the kids.Great beach area and dock to enjoy. I'm sure I'm missing stuff. But we loved being here for a week. Definitely looking forward to coming back. Oh if you're...

"The Little Red Lodge was a wonderful place! We were able to enjoy the outdoor area as well as cozy up inside at times. The owners are very thoughtful and you can tell throughout all the details. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend. "

"House was a great homebase for all the things we like to do in the UP. There are not many homes in this particular area and this one wont last forever as a rental as it is on the market for sale. Stay here while you can! Owner was communicative about the freezer/icemaker not being in full working order - not a huge issue for us, but nice that she made us aware."

"I still consider this a 5 star stay but there are some things I think would be helpful for future guests. 1) There is no place to put anything. No dressers, nor usable closets, no space in the bathroom for anything. You will live out of your suitcase and because there is no room for that either, you will have to get everything put away each time you use it. 2) similar to the above, because the kitchen is well stocked with basic essentials, there is nowhere to put food away. We stayed a full week...

"This home was a good stop on our waterfall tour. The home was clean, easy to find, check in and out. My only regret is I misread the sleeping accommodations. I thought there were two queen log beds and two other twin beds. One of the queen beds was the sofa sleeper. It was comfortable enough just not what I thought. "

"Second time this year staying here. The cottage is so cute and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped. Has everything you need. "

"This cottage is a jewel…tucked away on quiet Indian Point, it’s roomy and has one of the best equipped and outfitted kitchens on the island. The open plan dining and living rooms offer lots of space to gather and play. And the screen porch offers a bug-free spot to relax and enjoy this shady view of Lake Michigan. "

"The location of the house is very convenient , short walk to downtown. The place is clean and comfortable.. highly recommend!"

"After hauling our luggage up 19 steps and catching our breath, we were delighted with our spacious Captain's quarter having a fully equipped modern kitchen. Everything worked well. The location is only about 250 feet from a well stocked market that gladly offered just one stick of butter that was all we needed. We greatly enjoyed meeting many full-time residents who share a pioneering can do spirit. One resident said that nobody suffers alone because we will take care of them. Wow!"

"We absolutely love the beautiful view from the house and want to come back again. However, we noticed that the tap water has a noticeable iron smell and taste. It would be fantastic if the owner could consider installing a water treatment or filtration system."
