"Ben, the host, was very accommodating. The cabin was cute and in a nice location back in the woods. The firepit was a great place to end the evening. Nice view of the night sky out back. Overall, the cabin was a great place to unwind and disconnect for a bit. "

"Everything was great! We loved the place and the proximity of closeness to the lake. Very clean. My only thing is is that itDoes seem to take some time to get back with ya on questions we had. But really no big deal. We didn’t have anything urgent come up. Would definitely love to come back. "

"This house was perfect for our family's stay in Kansas. It was wonderful to have our children and grandchildren all under one roof during our trip. The house was beautiful and practical at the same time. The location just off of 75 highway made it very easy to access. "Very handy location for our family of 8 to go out to the lake several times a day. Easy drive back to eat back at the cabin. We enjoyed the comfortable beds, very cold AC, hot tub, quiet neighborhood, grill, and TV.It was decorated so nicely and was clean."

"Overall, it was good to have a roof over our heads for the night. No complaints there. The original location in Eskridge ended up being booked for the evening, resulting in a late check in time. I received communication a day before our stay providing another location to stay at. The lakehouse was decent, providing all accommodations necessary. One hide-a-bed, a full size and a twin bed, the latter being quite uncomfortable. A slightly dirty toilet is my only complaint about the cleanliness. "

"We enjoyed another visit to the lake front house with our family. This was our 3rd or 4th visit and each time we are thankful for Charlene's hospitality and the time at the lake."

"The house was just as described. It was clean and decorated very nicely. We felt very much at home. It was great having the park right across the street. It's really nice that older kids can play at the park, and you can watch them while you relax on the front porch. It would be nice if the City of Emporia would put up "Kids at Play" and "Speed Limit" signs around the park. We would definitely stay again!"
