"The stay was average overall. The room was clean, and the staff were polite and helpful. The balcony looked like it would have been a nice feature, but unfortunately it wasn't accessible during my stay. The room also had a strong smell of fresh paint, which made it less comfortable. It seemed like parts of the property were still undergoing maintenance or renovation. Additionally, the door lock wasn't working properly, and one of the lights kept flickering. "The Hotel da Vinci's location was excellent, both for the seafront and for the theatres, heading into the centre of town for the restaurants and bars. Howard Square was nicely off the beaten track, very quiet with onstreet parking for which the hotel offered guests complimentary permits. My room was huge, if a little 'tired", decoratively speaking, but everything was very clean. Very happy with my stay, thank you!"

"The staff, the location, everything was great! The only possible problem for some is the lift is so small (max 3 people)....though the age of the property means it can't be changed. This means that wheelchairs, walking frames etc have to be left downstairs. However the staff more than made up for it. We can't wait to return next month"
