"The room was comfortable, and being able to use the air-conditioner during the extremely hot weather was bliss. The staff were friendly and helpful, and when we decided to stay another night (to dodge the heat), the front desk staff helped arrange this and added a late checkout to our booking. "Spacious rooms with relatively new upgrades to be sure — so no complaints in room experience. Staff are absolutely wonderful, too. Please note that the property is a dated 1990s layout and architecture and styling. It’s all in serviceable, acceptable condition — just a few decades dated."

"On check in the gentleman was cheerful and helpful. Explained night porter service, bar and food times and where n when breakfast was with no prompts. Bar staff were cheerful and amenable. Parking was easy and plentiful. Hotel guest parking is free. Had an evening meal which was good. Bar runs a happy hour. Breakfast is continental and cooked. Cooked breakfast is prepared to order and arrived hot and perfectly cooked 5*"

"Booked a suite and got Room 7; beautiful room, huge with a comfy king size bed. Only slight negative was breakfast was a bit early for us so didn’t have it! Finished at 9. Lovely location and fabulous hotel"

"The property is well located with multi storey car park nearby and the river views very welcoming. Check in late at night was a bit hap hazard, mainly due to process changes but when we really wanted to get to bed it was a bit delayed. The bed was comfy, shower very good and over all very comfortable. "
