The driveway was heavily covered in slush, snow and ice and steps into the house were covered in ice. We requested plowing, shoveling or rock salt and were denied by the owner The night we arrived, we spent over 1.5 hours driving the city looking to purchase a snow shovel or rock salt as we could not get up the driveway. None was available this late in the season at any of the stores. Other driveways on the street and throughout the city were shoveled or plowed clean. The night we arrived, there was no close street parking plus we had three generations including a baby and a lot of luggage. Owners response was to park on the street as the cleaning people had done, so that only reinforced he knew the driveway needed to be plowed but didn't. We had to purchase a spade and had to shovel ourselves with that. We had to use table salt to get some grip on the steps. It snowed the next day, and again, no one came to plow. We shoveled again. We replaced the batteries in the living room tv remote, but that remote wouldn't control that tv. Other tvs in the house worked and we did try the other remotes on it, but no luck. The place in beautifully decorated, a very nice remodel for an old home. The coffee bar appreciated. When the sun is out, the home is filled with beautiful natural light. Beds we varied in sizes and very comfortable.
