"Such a unique and lovely spot! Perfect for our weekend getaway. So many small touches that made us feel so welcomed. I didn’t pay attention to the pictures to notice it’s lifted out of the water, but with the wind & rain overnight we were thankful as we still heard the water lapping underneath but didn’t get the same rolling all of the nearby docked boats had. Just steps from the Big Owl Tiki Bar where we had the best crabcake sandwiches. Will definitely be back, thanks again! "

"The Oaks is in an absolutely perfect location and checks all the boxes a large family needs for a stay. We booked it for our wedding at the AYC for close family and it was far superior to booking 6 hotel rooms where everyone would have been locked in their own rooms. They hung out and spent a great time together on the main level. It was nice to be at a historic home with all the fun quirks. The hosts were responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend! "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this kitschy, cool, rustic cabin with a million-dollar view. Communing with the ospreys, hummingbirds and the bald eagle who perched numerous times on a nearby tree was an added bonus. And, the owner may be the most friendly/helpful we’ve ever rented from. "Just finished a 2-night stay here, and it was fantastic. I'm a clean freak, and this rental was SUPER clean! My son attends the Naval Academy, and he was able to stay with me for one of the nights. Beds were comfy, and it was nice having a TV in both bedrooms. Owner was very quick to respond to any questions I had, and it was great having a washer and dryer available to use. I would definitely stay again!"
