Steps away from Columbus Landing Beach. World class diving at the Salt River Canyon. All bedrooms have private baths with 3 king beds, 1 queen bed and one sleeper sofa located in the office. 'Villa Santa Cruz' offers the ultimate retreat for your next Caribbean getaway. Take full advantage of your island vacation with a contemporary - yet exceptionally comfortable - haven where you can entertain guests, indulge in luxury amenities and soak up the tropical sun. Our amazing amenities include great room with wet bar, big screen TV, game room with wet bar, billiards, pub table, full gym, chefs kitchen with dining that seats 8, diesel generator, views of the Caribbean Sea and neighboring islands, sun deck with 40 foot pool, pool adjacent to the '1493 Bar and Grill' our outdoor bbq area with cabana seating for 5 and gas grill, steps from beach.

We are located on the North Shore of St. Croix in the Salt River National Park and Ecological Preserve. Completed in 2009 Villa Santa Cruz is full of modern amenities but steeped in a rich and storied history. Our hideaway is located on 'Columbus Landing' beach, named for the place where Columbus anchored 17 ships on his second voyage in 1493. Columbus, as the discoverer of this island, gave it it's original name, 'Santa Cruz' or Holy Cross. Though the island took the derivative of St. Croix later, the property carries the name 'Santa Cruz' in honor of the first visit and the original name of the Caribbean isle. Come experience the luxury of our tropical paradise.

A spectacular house on the beach. Very spacious with every possible comfort items.Six of us (3 couples) enjoyed our stay in separate master bedrooms. We hired house chef to prepare dinner for several nights. The house manager was very attentive to our needs as the dryer broke down and he replaced it that same dayThe communications with the host were great and very helpful. For sure, we will return.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The property manager met us at the airport and escorted us to the home. We were happily surprised with food and a complimentary bottle of rum. After a long day of travel both were most welcome!Important note - the beds were all very comfortable. The pool was sparkling clean and well maintained. While not really a swimming beach, walks and shell hunting was a lot of fun. Be sure to keep an eye out for the hermit crabs on property! We were a group of adults but I think anyone with children would enjoy them. I would highly recommend this property and absolutely stay again.

I truly wish I could give more than 5 stars. The property is absolutely gorgeous. Being right by the ocean with a perfectly sized pool, lots of chairs, and two large decks for shade from the hot sun made our stay very enjoyable. The kitchen was well supplied with pots, pans, utensils, and appliances, plus two bar areas (upstairs and downstairs). We booked the property because it fit our bedroom count needs. All four bedrooms were comfortable and we loved having an en suite in each one. While the gym was only used by one person in our party, it was a nice addition to the stay. The host thought of everything to make this an amazing vacation including a 24 hour contact (thank you Austin for being so responsive), beach chairs and coolers, and special touches that welcomed us to the property. A special thank you to the host for responding so quickly to all my questions and concerns. The host was very accommodating when we thought our flights were going to be cancelled. Our group truly appreciated all the help. We highly recommend staying at Santa Cruz because we know no one would be disappointed. We definitely want to return next year!

The communication before our stay was outstanding which gave us plenty of time to plan our activities. Home was perfect place to stay. So relaxing and great way to unplug and just enjoy family time. We had a wonderful stay. The welcome meal was amazing after a long day of travel and we used Julianna again later in the week. Austin was very helpful answering any of our questions.

We had a large group for Destination Honeymoon! We loved the house and the location. The pool is fantastic, and the house is well stocked. Communication with the owner and property manager was awesome!!! We were pleasantly surprised with a lasagna dinner and rum punch upon our arrival. We definitely will return!!! The hospitality was next level - we arrived to a home cooked meal (s/o to Juliana, she’s a fabulous chef & we booked her to catering one night as well - very delicious)! This beautiful property with a gourmet kitchen, incredible outdoor space and amazing views was just perfect for 8 couples to celebrate our anniversary and still have their own private retreat. The view was amazing! The house was great, plenty of room for everyone. Table was big enough for eight people to play cards every night(chairs could use a cushion) great memories! Had a few minor issues the biggest one was air in living room didn't work, Austin tried his best to get it fixed but was unable to. Other than that it was perfect best family vacation ever! We will defiantly stay here again.

Stunning property, location, view, pool. The views are magnificent, easy access to the beach, refreshing, sparkling clean pool. The kids spent time on the beach, finding shells, their dad spent time in the ocean snorkeling, the old folks enjoyed the pool the most. The location is very handy and everything we wanted was only a short drive away. We were fortunate to find this property and our excitement over it was rewarded! Hope to be back someday soon.

Villa Santa Cruz

Our family of 10 had a wonderful stay at Villa Santa Cruz. The Villa is beautiful and well laid out for separate families within the family. The location is ideal - secluded on a rocky beach but still close to many things including Christiansted and the Salt River Marina. It was a perfect location for us to celebrate our anniversary.

Great set up for large group

We had a great stay! The house was set up very nicely—clean, well-kept, and comfortable throughout. Everything in the home worked perfectly, which made our experience smooth and stress-free. Stephanie, the owner, was great to communicate with and went above and beyond by having a wonderful meal waiting for us upon arrival. Austin, the property manager, was also very helpful and made check-in and check-out a breeze. Super happy with our stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

Our family had an awesome stay at Villa Santa Cruz. The house and pool are beautiful and were perfect for the adults and kids. The Villa is about a 15 minute drive from the airport, Christiansted, and nice beaches. Austin was a tremendous help, and the food prepared by Chef Juliana was some of the best we’ve had anywhere!

Vacation with Friends

To celebrate our 50th birthdays myself and 3 close friends along with their spouses rented this oceanfront villa. The property was exactly as advertised! It was clean and modern and offered all the amenities we needed. If you didn't want to leave the villa, you don't have to! You can snorkel right in front of the property or enjoy the sun by the beautiful pool while listening to music through the portable JBL speakers that are included with the property. The property was a quiet, private oasis with the only noise coming from the waves of the ocean. If you're looking for a getaway from work and the hustle and bustle of every day life, this is the perfect location. However, if you'd like to go out to eat, visit another beach or walk the boardwalk in Christiansted, everything you need or would like to do is a short drive from the villa. Lastly, the hosts were very responsive and provided some great tips before we arrived that made our stay even better. I couldn't be more pleased with our experience.

Wonderful Getaway

Wow! What a wonderful week! Everything was too notch and the owner and caretaker were extremely accommodating. Chef Jay’s meals were delicious and we loved the convenience of being able to eat at the Villa and enjoy our time there. The first nights welcome meal was an awesome treat after a long travel day. Highly recommend and we would absolutely stay here again!

Fabulous spot

We can’t say enough good things about this spot. The setting is ideal with easy beach access and of course the pool. The space is perfect for gatherings. The owner was responsive beforehand and has a wonderful go-to person (Austin) who met us at the airport to guide us to the house and show us the ropes (you do need a car; the house is remote). We were greeted with a complementary meal which was outstanding after a day of travel. Chef Juliana is a skilled caterer and we hired her to do two other meals which were outstanding. We all agreed this was one of our best family vacations ever. We will be back!!!

Great Place with Awesome VIews

The house was as advertised. On the water with a huge pool. Full kitchen to cook whatever you want. And a caterer available if you don't. The house is fully stocked with everything you need. Stephanie was responsive and everything was easy. Austin the caretaker met us at the airport and we followed him to the house. What an awesome vacation. Highly recommend!
