The views were as wonderful as advertised. Jin and his wife couldn’t have been friendlier. We had a rough travel day dealing with cancellations so we arrived later than expected so having to have instructions told to us rather than written out to read at our leisure was the reason for the 4 on check in.

Our hosts could not have been more welcoming. Jin responded to every pre-stay question that we had and personally escorted us to the property. The property had amazing views of the north shore of the island and Buck Island. It is conveniently located to many restaurants and beaches. IThe property was very roomy, clean, and had everything that we needed. My family and I would return to this location in a heartbeat.

Jin and Sung Lee were absolutely wonderful hosts. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome—giving us a quick tour of the property and even driving us to a few nearby spots to help us get familiar with the area.The house was the perfect home base for our stay on the island, with truly amazing views that we enjoyed every day.They went above and beyond to make our trip special. Not only did they prepare the best meal we had on the island, but Jin also put on a magic show for our kids that they talked about for hours afterward.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend staying here.

Jin and his wife were fantastic hosts, ensuring we were able to find the property easily and safely. They took time to show us around local landmarks and took our photos to ensure we had some together before the end of our trip. The view from his home is stunning and the location is great, with many local beaches and snorkel spots nearby. Would highly recommend staying here! Everything is as pictured and the home is very clean.

We cannot say enough great things about our exceptional one week stay at Jin and Sung Lee’s. They were incredibly welcoming hosts!Their place is spacious, clean and comfortable and the views are spectacular!They made sure we knew our way around since GPS doesn’t always work right near the house. To cap it off we enjoyed homemade Jin Choi sushi and delicious lemon cake! We hope to visit again in the future!

High above the sea

Amazing View and Gracious Hosts

This large apartment has everything you will need, but the best part is waking up to that view every morning! The host Jin acted as our personal tour guide for a couple of snorkel trips (bring your own equipment), and a picnic, where he provided his home-made sushi. Photos of the place are accurate. Not everything is shiny and new, but it's typical of island living, and comfortable. Open all the many windows to enjoy the island breezes, and savor the view.

A week in paradise

Everything about the stay was wonderful. Jin met us to lead us to the property- much appreciated. Once we were there, we relaxed and basked in the beautiful setting. Jin and his wife could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The only drawback was out of their control - as the Bidens were on the island, the most direct route to Christiansted and the rest of the island was closed. It made getting around much more time consuming. Apart from that headache, we loved our stay and can't wait to return.

Quiet East End with Personal Touch

The Chois were fabulous hosts always available but never in our “space.” The Pirate House has an even better view than the photos show. Indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy them as well as spots that are shady and sunny at any time of the day. We enjoyed the breezes all night (in March) and never even bothered with the AC. Jin and SuynLee took us on the best snorkeling excursion we’ve ever had, treated us to sushi and other amazing food by chef Jin, and he mesmerized us and our 16yo with brain teasers and magic tricks. One of the furthest East places you can stay so don’t miss stargazing at Pt Udall!

A quiet corner of Paradise

A beautiful view and a roomy, quiet, safe, and clean lodging. Jin and his wife are attentive and helpful hosts. We never used a/c during our February stay because we were able to leave screened windows open and enjoy the steady breeze. We would happily stay here again if possible.

Respite

The views were outstanding. I would suggest a pair of binoculars. Remember to bring beach towels as they are not supplied. Also, you may want to consider bringing a JBL speaker for music. If you like to read at night be sure and include a book light. It is a perfect condo for two families with a bedroom and bath on either side of the kitchen. The closest beach is an easy 20 minute walk down but remember with the fabulous views it is a bit more of a strenuous walk coming back up to condo. Host was very accommodating when I asked for use of beach chairs. He also supplied a lovely meal of fresh sushi!

We've been to St.Croix many times but this was our first time staying on the east end. Jin was a wonderful host and pointed out a few snorkel spots that we hadn't tried before (Jack Bay via a short hike from the west side, off the beach by the Divi resort and Boiler Bay from Cramer Park Beach). Jin and his wife prepared and shared picnic lunches with my wife and I at Cain Bay and Cramer Park. They also guided us on a snorkel at the Frederiksted pier, pointing out turtles and an eagle ray. Recommend to stay with Jin, to enjoy his wonderful sushi and the best view in St Croix!

Amazing Host, Views, and Stay

Jin and his wife are gracious and welcoming hosts. My husband and I enjoyed staying at their property. Jin met us at a local establishment the first day and showed us the way to their home. He provided a tour of the property which is expanse, well cared for and an amazing vista of buck island, on clear days, st thomas, and st john as well as Christiansted, st croix. Jin loves to make sushi and was generous and shared a meal of sushi for both of us. He even remembered our allergies. Jin offered to show us snorkeling sites, however this trip our schedule didn't have time planned for snorkeling, but we plan to catch up with Jin on our next trip to the island for snorkeling and my husband is looking forward to a visit to dive together. Memorable stay at Jin's house and recommend to others. Thank you for an amazing stay! Beverly & Rich

Highly recommend

Owners were great to work with. View was perfect for my wife and I. Two of our favorite things from the island were in view from the deck, buck island and the St Croix castle. Very quiet and private, with gated entrance. Just a lovely place for anyone who enjoys St Croix!

The property was as described and perfect for two friends on island for a weekend. Jin was very friendly and accessible the whole time we were there. He also makes outstanding sushi! Only thing to be aware, there are many stairs to deal with that might be a problem for some.

Lovely Property

Grapetree has the best views hands down. Sunsets are fantastic. The breezes all night long are amazing. Our hosts were lovely people. The beautiful cactus by the patio has hummingbirds in it. The friendly neighborhood cat, Pedro, will be missed. Beautiful spot.
