"I enjoy a hotel that makes you feel like the location… not some generic place that looks the same in every location. The Porterhouse was great in that regard, made me feel like I was in Oxford. "Definitely not a summer property. We upgraded our room for a bigger bed which included a mini fridge and espresso maker. That being said we faced the road and the room was HOT! No AC so windows open with a very average floor fan. The road noise wasn’t horrific but it was there even at 4 am. Nice shower, wardrobe. I’d book again if I was traveling in April or May."
