"Having just got home from a long road trip, this was a pleasant surprise. Having restored a 100-year-old house. I can appreciate everything that has been done to the structure. The only thing I have to say is that is missing a bottle opener for wine and the can opener does not work. Other than that a very nice house in a very nice location"

"Susan and Brian were very hospitable and responsive. This location is so quiet, peaceful, and quaint. A lovely evening retreat after long hiking days! We really enjoyed the grill and hot tub. Drive into Yosemite is 1hr 20 mins but is a lovely route and goes by fast. Hiked Hites Cove, which is only about 40 mins away on our first day. Easy access to Mariposa. Highly recommend the Cozy Cottage Retreat!"

"Loved every minute of our stay. The views in every direction were amazing. Was a great home base for going to Yosemite. So peaceful and relaxing to return to in the afternoons. The whirlpool tub was wonderful. We also enjoyed how close it was to Mariposa, with many great restaurants. Kitchen was well-equipped. Beds comfy. Our host was very responsive and helpful."

"Must see to appreciate. The country setting is great. The animals & wildlife are very relaxing. Got to converse with the owners who are truly great people. Can’t wait to stay again hopefully later this year. "

"Though it's an older home, it had modern appliances. There were lots of pits/pans, cutlery, baking & serving dishes ... There were also plenty of towels for showering and swimming. Plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained right on the property. Beautiful swimming pool and spa. The only drawbacks were that the pool was not ready to use until the poolguy came the day after we arrived and that, at first, we had to call the property manager to turn on the spa whenever we were planning to...

"Whiole house dirty incl fan blades- linen on beds unclean-toilet in back bedroom wobbly w septic smell- Glass shower doors stick at bottom ,Pocket doors stuck so no privacy in toilet areas. Gas burner on left of stove malfunctioning-Refrigerator was not cool enough to keep food safe when we arrived- not enough garbage cans for large 16 person group. Mold smell in back bedroom causing allergy issues for one member-"

"This house was an excellent place to gather with friends and family! We had 18 people coming together to celebrate a birthday. The house had plenty of space for a group of this size - bedrooms, kitchen, etc. The second fridge and separate building made it very comfortable. The listing was very detailed and accurate which we really appreciated. It's close to hikes and beautiful nature, as well as Oakhurst if you need to pick anything up.
