"The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable. It would be nice to have a few basic essentials such as salt and pepper and hand soap upon arrival to get things...

"The cottage is hidden away in the heart of Wooler village and is a great base for walks (I'd recommend the short walk to Wooler Common) and visits to local towns, beaches and attractions. It had ample parking and was comfortable for our family of 4. The cottage is well maintained and decorated beautifully and it felt like home for our stay. Communication with hosts was friendly, clear and efficient and check-in and out was easy."

"We were pleasantly surprised by the charm of this flat and the area. There is a lot to do and see around Dunbar and North Berwick, and it was very easy to hop on the train and go into Edinburg. The big bed was really comfortable and the shower worked great."

"The view from the cottage is outstanding. A long wooden table in the conservatory to sit about 8 people. There are comfy chairs too to relax in. The lounge is kind of rustic and a wee bit dark during the day. Ample table lamps to give a nice aura when it’s dark. I think there is way too much furniture in the room to be honest. "Right on the harbour side with main street, leisure centre and station ( main line to Edinburgh) all in walking distance. Delightful walk along seafront and plentiful bird life to observe. Comfortable, warm accommodation and responsive host who dealt with minor problem instantly. We would be happy to return."
