Fantastic bird watching! Bring binoculars! We loved staying at this house. Beautiful views, quiet and very private. Perfect location to visit Crater Lake, but not too far away from shopping and restaurants in Klamath Falls.

Overall, our experience was good. However, we found two things on our arrival that troubled us. First, there was some rotten food on the floor in the kitchen. Second, one of the beds did not seem to have fresh linens on it. So out rating is only "average"

Beautiful view

We had a wonderful stay at the home while visiting and exploring Crater Lake. The view was beautiful out the back from the family room. I don’t think the listing provided adequate pictures of the view so it was an unexpected bonus. The house felt comfortable and was clean and well-equipped.

Lovely house ! Very well decorated. The view is wonderful and soothing. Very bright house. Two decks overlooking on the yard. Great trail along the lake close to the house by foot. I would come back.

Beatiful view of the lake and wildlife! Comfy living area and beds. Too many synthetic aromas for this sensitive family, but otherwise clean and comfortable and serene!

Crater Lake lodging on a marsh

House is adjacent to marsh. BUGS! on front door, hall walls, floor & in bathroom. Found bug killer, which helped. Next eve, returned after dark, activating garage & porch motion sensor lights. White front door & surrounding area became a mass of insects! Gathered & staged items from car, opened front door & quickly threw all into the house. Then Bug sprayed interior floors & walls. Subsequently, carried spray in car. Advertised photos had been computer enhanced. What had appeared to be a bright, clean & attractive interior was not… Many pages of the visitor comments had been torn out. Issues with this property: Master bedroom sliding door lock had been removed; only a wooden rod in floor track served as security screen was ripped all around handle door glass looked like grease had been thrown on it bed frame was loose & squeaked bedside table light switch was broken sheets were clean but stained door clothes hook was loose & hung upside down Rear guest room door screen was ripped all around handle adjoining deck – dirty, as were the chairs, which we had to cover with towels Kitchen no towels or dish cloths no microwave instructions; inconvenient to use no fridge instructions; took trial & error to adjust temp dishwasher soap was ‘hidden’ in laundry room bug residue inside sky light panel ice machine needed activation Dining room had no lights at all Many windows had no screens TV’s required our personal account information – unexpected. Obviously - a great disappointment!
