"Well the hotel is pleasant and characterful. The heating was stuck on in the room with only a small window to open. Unbearable poor nights sleep. On complaining nothing could be done apparently so we were moved to another room. Which was much better. "

"We visited this hotel back in September 2024 everyone was so welcoming the hotel is beautiful with breathtaking grounds and views! We decided to come back as a memory and we were fortunate enough to stay in the exact same room as last time which was very sentimental to us!! The breakfast was delicious with such a huge choice of selection The staff are lovely as well as the owners who are very welcoming and friendly!! "Everything is excellent! The room is beautifully equipped, with superbly comfortable bed, brilliant shower, decent size bath and good Wi-fi. All staff in the pub were friendly and served us with good humour at breakfast, lunch or dinner. Food was brilliant (we ate there every night). Location was just what we were after, small village with no shops, but easy driving distance from larger centres. Plenty of walking trails nearby. Highly recommended."

"The staff are great, so helpful. Perfect location just over the road to the Historic Dockyard. Easy parking behind the property. The room was great, excellent shower, comfortable bed. All very clean. Breakfast was very good, well prepared with good quality ingredients. Would definately stay again. Perfect for a two day visit to the Dockyard."

"Absolute amazing place to stay and the staff were so so friendly, always smiling, in a good mood and happy to help. The breakfast selection was brilliant from cereal to croissants to eggs benedict royale. Room was extremely clean on 1st inspection and was continued throughout the stay by the maids. Bar was awesome too. Dedicated parking too which was very helpful and not like other properties in area. We will definitely be staying here again 100%"

"We had a lovely weekend at Arden House. Lucie organised everything with so much attention to detail and care that being there felt like a cosy home. We even received a welcome card and chocolate Easter eggs every time the room was cleaned. The location was also great, just a five-minute walk from the castle. The rooms were spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend staying there!"

"We went for a weekend with our cavapoo. TBH had little treat box, dog towel and little sleeping mat. We brought many of our own things but nice to make him feel welcomed. We had a great stay. The staff were incredibly helpful..walking routes, getting us a table for dinner. We had lovely drinks every evening at the bar with a very large fire and our dog with us. The food was very good..breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed eating at other establishments in Midhurst too. We didn’t use the Spa but it...

"The hotel, staff and food were all excellent, the only downfall is you have to pay to park there which I dont agree with if you are staying there. For that reason I will not stay there again."

"The Copper Beeches is a 15 minute walk from the South Downs Way. I received a very warm welcome and my stay couldn’t have been better. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Thank you so much. "
