"We had a flood in our BNB which we booked back in February. Thankfully this cottage was available to cover part of our stay. The kids enjoyed the location and we were so grateful for enough beds for everyone to stretch out at night (myself with 3 kids, one being a teenager)! "We had a very nice week at this cottage. It’s a quieter part of the river, boat-wise, so good SUP’ing and kayaking. Good fishing spots too. The cottage is on the smaller side, but it sleeps six comfortably, and otherwise we spent all our time outside, so we did not mind the smaller living area. "We can not thank you enough for our dream vacation at the most wonderful location. We loved the very small town of Westmeath. The large cottage is superb in every way. It had a cool inviting sub level with bunk beds for kids to build memories, with movies and cards for late night. "We had a wonderful stay at the cottage with the kids and everyone had a lovely time. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. and there were plenty of blankets and pillows. We did have some rain on our first couple of nights which caused a power outage for 3 days, but the cottage has a generator in the shed that powered the fridge, Wi-Fi, and TV while we were waiting for power to come back on which was a lifesaver! "
