Affordable, close to Downtown Chicago, Downers Grove, Wheaton, Oakbrook, shopping, dining, highways. there’s nothing better than this fully furnished unit. Recently renovated, includes everything you need from free parking, linens to dishes, cookware, cable, wireless internet, queen size bed, in-unit washer - dryer, smart TV’s, Alexa, , Netflix, Hulu . Relax on the balcony view of the pond and waterfall.

    Other things to note
    Please be aware that if you lose the keys, which is your access to the unit, it cannot be replaced for you immediately and you may lose access to the apartment and all amenities until another one can be made. There is a $200 fee for lost keys.

    For mail or packages, we do not recommend them being delivered to the building/apartment to avoid issues of lost deliveries. Please check for a nearby pickup location (through Amazon lockers or UPS access point) to guarantee the receipt of your mail/packages.

    As always, the health and safety of our guests is our top priority. We would like to make you aware of the precautions and preventative practices our team are implementing in response to the current challenges of COVID-19.

    To mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, we will use higher medical grade sanitizer for cleaning solutions. We’re also updating our cleaning protocols with guidance from ISSA about COVID- 19 and undertaking targeted deep cleaning and enhanced sanitation measures across our portfolio.

All was great, just as advertised. We found the bed a bit uncomfortable, though.

Man the lifeboats!

Man the lifeboats! unit needed additional cleaning of stove and around bathroom at time of our arrival. This was accommodated by the host sending the cleaning lady back. A lot of cobwebs and dusty things. Transition strip to bathroom needed to be repaired. Sharp points sticking up. Rug needs to be cleaned or replaced. dishwasher does not seem to get dishes clean. Dishwasher had to be reattached to counter, it was falling out. The main problem was that during the first few weeks of our stay a common sewage line kept backing up making the toilet unusable. Maintenance department came four or five times often removing the toilet and using large power rodding equipment. Outside contractors had to be called twice. We went one entire evening and the next morning without a toilet! When maintenance arrived, we were told there was an emergency number that the host could have called and they would’ve responded. The call was obviously not made. Situation seems to be resolved since there were no incidents the final few weeks of our stay.
