Comfortable Ocean Breeze Home

  • Nuestra casa está ubicada en el espectacular Cabot Trail con una gloriosa vista del océano. Ubicado justo al otro lado de la calle del océano, apenas a un tiro de piedra, puedes oler el agua salada y sentir la brisa del océano en tu cara mientras bebes tu café de la mañana mientras observas los barcos de langosta arrastrar sus trampas frente a la costa. Las vistas son particularmente sorprendentes al atardecer cuando la luz brilla de oro en el agua. Mira hacia atrás y todo lo que ves son kilómetros y kilómetros de montañas. Nuestra ciudad natal es realmente un lugar mágico.

    Nuestra casa tiene casi un siglo de antigüedad, recientemente renovada, tiene tres dormitorios y un baño completo en el piso de arriba, una gran cocina, comedor y sala de estar en el primer piso, con una gloriosa vista al mar, así como un cuarto de lavado completo y barro Habitación (aún por renovar). Cubiertas tanto en la parte delantera (vista al mar) como en la parte trasera de la casa (montañas y sombra de la tarde). También está equipado con electrodomésticos, que incluyen lavadora y secadora, TV de pantalla plana y todas las necesidades del hogar. Estamos a pocos pasos de la ciudad (5 minutos), el campo de golf Le Portage está prácticamente en nuestro patio trasero, y el Parque Nacional Cape Breton Highlands está a 5 minutos en coche.

Centrally located between hiking trails and restaurants in town. Great kitchen and roomy bedrooms. Nice place for a family stay.

great place to stay when in the area. Was perfect for the five of us, making deals, relaxing in the evenings, ect. Wouldnt hesitate to stay here again

We loved our stay! The house was well situated in relation to Cape Breton national park trails and scenic drives and appointed with all of the amenities we needed to stay for a week with our 1 year old son. Jeannie was really easy to communicate with and check in and check out were seamless! We would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to explore Cape Breton highlands and the idyllic towns surrounding the park!

We have group of six to check in and out, the whole procedure was simple and smooth. We had some water pressure issues in the bathroom upstairs, I contacted the host and she responded in 3 minutes and her handyman showed up in 30 minutes, and the problem was solved in less than 10 minutes! I am so impressed. Thank you, Jeannie, you made my day!

The location is gorgeous, with a view of the water and the awesome Cape Breton National Park very close. The house is comfortable and a good value for the price. The host is nice and very available to answer questions.We enjoyed our stay (even though all trails on the island were closed because of risk of fires).

Wonderful location and view

We had a very nice visit. Great location and the sunsets were terrific. Nice lighthouse in the distance to enhance the setting sun. The location of the house is central to the Cabot Trail and Skyline Trail. Cheticamp is a nice area to visit.

We love Cheticamp!

Aucoin Bakery, a slew of restaurants, a comfy house with h great views of the Bay....this house has it all and more. It is located near the entrance to Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Easy in, easy out, clean and perfect place to relax.

Accès facile au Parc dez Hautes-Terres du Cap Breton

Proche des services de Chéticamp. Splendides couchers de soleil sur le golfe bien visibles de l'intérieur comme de la terrasse. Par contre, bruyant car sur la Cabot trail et trafic matin et soir. Cuisine bien équipée.

Girls hiking getaway

House and property were very clean, well Organized, comfortable and well stocked. The sunsets across the road on the ocean were beautiful. Jeannie was very responsive and helpful and I would stay here again and recommend it. Thanks Jeannie!

Simple accommodations with nice access to the park. Communication with the host was difficult because of poor internet/cellular service in the area. Not the fault of the host!

What a wonderful gem!

The communication with the owner was very smooth. The location was amazing - beautiful view on the ocean, within walking distance of downtown and short drive to the hiking trails. The house is gorgeous and really spacious for 6 people. I actually thought that the dining area was going to be dark after seeing the pictures online, but it was so bright. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and we would recommend this house to any family or friends who would like to visit the area. Thank you Jeannie for your kindness and for offering such a beautiful house to visitors.

Awesome Home in Cheticamp!

Spent two weeks at Jeannie's home in Cheticamp. Since my husband's family lives down the road, this was the perfect location. We were able to spend so much time with his family. We hiked, kayaked, 4-wheeled into the mountains, golf at Le Portage and also at Highland Links. Great location and beautiful sunsets. Spent a lot of time walking the Old Cheticamp road. Ate at L'Abri and went to the Aucoin bakery every day. All within a few minutes of the house. We needed to reach out to Jeannie for a small issue and she had a repairman at the house that day!!.

Needs work

The paint on some walls was peeling. There was a rotten food in salad spinner in the cupboard. Broken patio chair that someone sat in and fell through. Missing transition strips between rooms etc.
