"Our stay at The Inn was wonderful. Diane and staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful with great suggestions. Shopping and picnic supplies were spot on! Breakfast was delicious and more than plentiful. The pool was not available at this time, but what a beautiful setting. We’ll stay here again on our next trip to the Berkshires."

Loved the shops located in the main building. We stayed in Maple Glen which was lovely. I was disappointed my room was dark but now know to ask for a sunnier room when booking."

"Okay place to spend a night but don’t expect any service. This place uses remote “staff” to run the joint. I called the “desk” around 6:30 pm with a request. Got a call back around noon the next day, when we were well on our way. No soaps, no shower cap. Only plus was an urn of good coffee in the otherwise empty lobby. Not much for $160 or so."

"Property is sprawling and unwieldy. Couldn't find the main office for 10 minutes (went to 2 other buildings). Check-in - 4 people at the desk, but only 1 actually checking people in. Lower floor of "villa" smelled funny. Mildewy smell in tub. "Market" is actually a tiny area with some cold drinks, candy and "breakfast" - which is microwaved eggs and pancakes served by unhappy people. Coffee was instant and priced at $3.25 a cup. Pool area was chaotic and unsupervised. Roving bands of teenagers....

"Pictures on the internet made it appear to be an Inn. It was actually a motel just above route 7. Tricky taking a left onto a 4 lane highway to get to Lenox but doable. Room was clean, air conditioned, comfortable and great staff. Few minor issues: 1. Bathroom fan didn't work and one of the charge ports on the shared bedside table was dead. I would recommend if all the cute Inns in Lenox are full."

"firstly listed at great barrington but really 12 to 15 minutes from town , i got spider bites on my foot from sleeping , not fun , i waited almost an hour for a staff member to fix my tv remote , and to add insult to injury i had to leave a day early due to up coming inclement weather, and of course had to pay for the extra day . i know thats on me . i should have booked just one day , i could have stayed a second day and paid then if the weather cooperated due to the site was mostly vacant . i...

"The pictures shown on your site are not representative of this motel. We pulled into the drive and turned around and left without even checking in. There was debris leaning on the building outside of several rooms, the landscaping and parking lot was over grown. You could not even see the pool from how overgrown the weeds and bushes are. If the outside is this unkempt there was little expectation of the condition of the rooms. So disappointing that the online photos are so deceptive."

"The Yankee Inn was a convenient and affordable option for our visit to Tanglewood. The check-in staff was friendly and advised us of breakfast and checkout hours. The room was clean and thankfully well air conditioned during our stay there in 90 degree weather!
