"Jenny,Chris, and their son were super friendly and communicative. I really enjoyed my stay. Jenny allowed me to check in early and add an extra night. The boat was spacious and comfortable for two people. The only critic is the boat could use some detailing (this is coming from my boat detailing Boyfriend). The boat was clean but with a good detailing it can be perfect thanks Jenny and Chris. "

"We had the best weekend here! The house was spotless and had such a warm, welcoming feel from the moment we arrived. The beautiful kitchen made cooking together so easy, and the back deck was the perfect spot for morning coffee and evening chats. "Amazing property! We stayed one night passing through from our northern adventure and it was the perfect place to rest and relax before getting back on the road. From the beautiful cabin, that is well organized, clean and tidy, to the air hockey table, which kept the kids occupied, and the huge fire pit outside. The property has character and is well maintained. My only regret is that we didn’t have more days to spend at the cabin! Will find a reason to stay again. Wonderful experience all...

"The house is located in a quite neighborhood. The space is large and easy to use, there are stairs and all the rooms are on the 2nd floor. I didn't realize it was a duplex and the owners lived in the other 1/2 of the house. "

"Amazing host. Accomodations were comfortable and clean. We were very surprised to see the kitchen stocked with coffee, tea, fresh fruit and a few other goodies. The host goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Perfect for two people, highly recommend staying at the Shalom Cottage."

"The Freeboard Studio in Old Lyme was the perfect, vacation spot for me and my husband. The host truly thought of everything when renovating this space. "Great stay. Clean, all amenities provided, located short walk from beach. I wouldn’t call it an apartment or studio, though. It’s the size of a bedroom and includes only a bed, dresser, fridge and microwave. Not even a chair. Description made me expect a bit more but if you know the size going in, it’s a marvelous place to stay. "

"This is a solid stay for a night or two, but it is very bare minimum - like a hostel. If you're looking for something besides a hostel experience I suggest looking elsewhere. Location is good, but you do hear the highway from the room. Owner is nice, but the walk-through of the place is unnecessary. Everything is straightforward. "

"I had a great stay. The proximity to the beach is fantastic and I love that the beach is only accessible by people renting or living in the neighborhood. I was looking for a quiet getaway and I got just that. The bed was great as was the AC. Communication with owners was fantastic. I will be going back.
