Spacious Lake Almanor West Getaway - Enjoy Everything the Lake Has to Offer

Welcome to the yellow cabin! After a day of golfing at Lake Almanor West golf course or fishing, boating or kayaking on the lake, come relax at this charming four bedroom, three full bathroom spacious Lake Almanor cabin. This home-away-from-home is well stocked for your next vacation with everything the family might need, and more. Enjoy the views of the seventh hole tee while barbecuing and playing games on the wrap around porch, or relax in front of the fireplace while reading your favorite book. There is room for parking a boat, and the boat launch dock is about 1/4 mi away. There also is a 220 volt (level 2) Tesla plug-in (NEMA 14-50). It is not a Tesla charger, so you need to bring your cable. Whatever your next vacation might bring you’ll find this cabin offers plenty of space (and amenities) for everyone. We are sorry, but at this time, no pets. Come experience the comfort of home with the beauty of the outdoors at the Yellow Cabin!

Lovely home with plenty of space to congregate and feel at home! Well stocked, clean, and overall a pleasure to stay here.Rodney was also responsive, and my friends and I had no issue checking in and out. Would recommend!

We rented this house for a family trip with our 3 adult sons, their wives, and a 1 1/2 year old granddaughter. It turned out to be a very nice gathering space for us all. The kitchen, dining and living room area fit us comfortably. Kitchen was well stocked and good room in fridge. Pillows were too puffy for our liking and mattresses and bedding/decor seemed like they may need replacement or updating. Favorite part was the back deck and yard area! it was a wonderful spot to hang out and visit and really comfortable to eat dinner in the evening with a good size table and chairs outside. it would have been nice to have more lounge chairs than just one thor more of us to relax in or read a book. Nice grassy area to play with our granddaughter and beautiful view literally on the seventh hole of the golf course. The guys really enjoyed the golf course conveniently located there and liked that there are pickle ball courts there too. While the various options for streaming tv were a nice convenience it was confusing on what remotes do what and how to properly access tv to watch. With multiple people and try’s we did ultimately get it figured out. There is a good grocery store not too far away and not a bad drive to Big Cove and Knotty Pine marinas, as well as a good restaurant called IL Lago Pizza & Pasta. The host was very communicative and responsive. Appreciated the detailed notes provided prior to and for our stay. Would recommend staying here!

Overall, it was a lovely place to stay, with one exception. The bed in the office/bedroom was unacceptable. It is a foam mattress with no box springs or support slats. Also, it is not the bed shown in the photos on the ad.

Wonderful home!

Our family stayed at the Yellow Cabin the last week of June and had wonderful time. Lots of room for everyone, comfortable beds and furnishings. The kitchen was fully stocked with just about everything you’d ever need. Enjoyed playing cornhole in the backyard, going to the rec center, checking out what’s new in Chester, golfing, and playing games in the evening. Rodney was great to work with…even texted me to let me know about a power outage before I even knew the power was out. 👍 Thank you! Definitely a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ property!!

Fantastic Property and an even better Host

We were only able to stay one night of our planned three due to unforeseen circumstances. Rodney was very responsive and super helpful in supporting our issue resolution. Despite our last minute changes, Rodney was understanding and fair. I wish we could’ve stayed at the house longer and would strongly recommend staying at Rodney’s home!

Cozy Almanor West Cabin

The property was extremely well laid out and perfect for our group of two families. It is well stocked, has a great porch and backyard space and we loved being on the golf course. It is cozy and well stocked. Great overall!
