"Awesome place for a family stay! Cabin was great, the pool was nice, facilities were clean and all working. But the best part was the vibe; calm and quiet, but not too quiet. We wish we had longer to stay and enjoy! "

"Beautiful, clean, scandi cabins with luxury bedding. Coffee and water provided. Bathroom had all the supplies. It was a calm retreat in the township of Mahone Bay, NS. It even has a sauna to complete the experience"

"The house is in a beautiful position and has amazing views. It is a comfortable size and plenty of equipment and little welcome features. I booked the property when it was described as two double beds in two rooms and two bedrooms with a double bed in each .This was perfect for us. That was not the case and we had to double up with people we would not usually sleep with. Also the leaving time was moved to 10 am and l especially wanted a property with 11 am. "Great property! Well organized and equipped with everything you need (aside from a dishwasher). Just a short drive to Lunenburg. We loved kayaking right from the dock. The inlet is very calm and the kids loved exploring the islands and waterways. "

"This is a great whole home property that offers a lot of easy trip options. There is a super cute small downtown that is a good spot for breakfast / shopping. There is a grocery store super close to the house and the kitchen is well equipped for any meal. The home has no AC but did provide fans. The back yard and deck are spacious but we spent most of our time traveling. "The property is well located and has an amazing dock by the water. It was very clean, large kitchen and nice new bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay, we relax on the dock and also explore Peggy’s cove and Lunenburg close by. The owners we easy to communicate with, clear indications and very nice. "This was an excellent place to stay to discover much of NS. Day trips are very doable to Halifax, Lunenburg, Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay, and, although a little further, wine country in Wolfville. Chester and Hubbards are a little closer and offer a number of excellent shops and restaurants. Returning to number 7 is like coming home to relaxing luxury with an outstanding view. The house is very modern and well equipped for towels, sheets as well as kitchen appliances and utensils. Finally, there...

"A week at the Hilltop Retreat was great…a month would have been better. This quaint little cottage provided a cozy but plentiful space for our family of four. We enjoyed the large, open yard, with plenty of room for outdoor activities, and the beautiful ocean view while sitting and drinking coffee every morning. We made great use of the golf clubs, kayaks and bicycles. The cottage provided a great base for us while we explored the south shore. We hope to visit again very soon!"

"This is a great place to stay in Lunenburg- a short walk to the harbour and the Fisheries Museum and right across the street from a school (great place for kids to play). Check in was easy and the home is cute and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was a BBQ on the deck. The beds were comfy and the laundry facilities were full size. The home is bright and feels spacious and the private deck is a quiet and peaceful spot to relax. We would love to go back."
