  • Esta pequeña cabaña rústica se encuentra en una colina con hermosas vistas del lago Pickwick. Cuenta con 1 habitación con una cama queen size y una cama doble. La habitación familiar tiene una cama nido (para 2) y un sofá con 2 sillones reclinables. Hay un televisor con satélite para su disfrute dentro. También tiene una cocina completa con refrigerador / congelador de tamaño completo, estufa / horno de tamaño completo, cafetera, vajilla y parrilla de carbón al aire libre disponible para su uso. ¡El gran porche es perfecto para ver las hermosas puestas de sol aquí! Si planea navegar, hay una rampa pública para botes en el Colbert County Rose Trail Park, ubicado a menos de 1 milla de distancia. Además, se pueden alquilar botes en Eastport Marina, ubicado directamente al otro lado del agua. Esta es la escapada perfecta para unifamiliares, pescadores o cazadores. Esta cabaña se encuentra en la misma propiedad que el centro de eventos The Riverton y se puede alquilar en conjunto si se necesita espacio adicional. El viaje hasta la cabina es algo empinado y de grava, sin embargo, nunca hemos tenido ningún problema con el acceso de los automóviles.

Very Nice

Great little cabin on the hill. Peaceful, nice view of lake, great ownership. The only issue was there is no grassy area for dog to walk, play and potty as everything is rock. But will be back, we loved it.

Great Owner

We rented this for a long weekend on July 4th. The cabin was clean & comfortable and the owner, Pam, was very responsive to all requests for information. Would definitely recommend!

Bathroom was very small. Large person would not be able to access shower was only large enough to turn around in. No door to separate bedroom from rest of the house. WiFi was not good, could not get oven to come on and ceiling fan in living area would not work. Minimum amount of silverware. Was enough for us two. Rugs were very dirty and large bed smelled of dogs and was very uncomfortable. It needed a lot of rethinking in my opinion.

We enjoyed our stay here in this cute lil cabin. It was very quiet & relaxing. We had issues with the TV/Dish not working, we had only Netflix to watch all week. Other than that it was great! The only other thing I would suggest is 'Memory Foam' for the main bed.

So hot when we got there we were soaked kitchen was a furnace tried to make sandwiches cheese melted on counter tv did not work til day we left leather couch is terrible springs broke water looked like milk sponges came with building balcony had wasps n dirt dobbers power went out 5 times first night it stormed fridge n freezer gross

The cabin was not clean. Lots of dog hair and bugs inside. The bathroom is very tight. Sheets had a stain on them which made them seem unclean.

Rustic Cabin

Great place Nice lighting at night VRBO directions are nonexistent and rely on Google which could have taken into some one else’s property or into the river. We were taken out of our way two times before we called the property manager who responded immediately and easily found after she told us it was 10 miles from the highway. Beware it is a very, very steep driveway but outstanding view of river once you are there It IS rustic and almost primitive 😉

Cherokee Cabin

Nice cozy little cabin, be nice if the bedroom had a door to separate the snorers from the non snorers.Couch very comfortable for sitting but not for an adult to sleep on,too narrow to sleep on your back.Really better suited for three adults or a couple sleeping in the queen bed and kids on the full bed,the couch,and the day bed in the living room.Having a queen air mattress would be nice,then 4 adults could sleep comfortably.Front porch roof leaks like a seive,wanted to sit on the porch while it was raining and enjoy the lake view but needed to wear a rain coat to do it.Overall I felt it was worth what it cost cost and would stay there again.Host was responsive,gave good directions and checkin was easy.

Cold and Japanese beetles

I think this would be a better idea in warmer weather. Heat was sparse and cabin is drafty. After turning the oven on for extra heat we settled down. We woke to Japanese beetles on everything. The heat and light drew them. Just wasn’t what we were expecting. Left a day early.

Affordable cabin with beautiful view

Perfect stay for our fishing trip! Would definitely stay here again. Pam (host) was very responsive to all/any questions we had.

Seclusion

Gorgeous view, peaceful and extremely quiet. Want to get away from it all this is the spot to be. Bring your fishing boat and fishing gear!

Memorial Day weekend

We stayed in this property in Pickwick Lake area. We loved it. The communication was above & beyond helpful (even in advice & suggestions for around the area) My only wish is that we had booked longer. Next time we plan to fully explore & enjoy more time.

Satisfactory, not great. Perfect for a single fisherman.

Stayed April 8-11, 2021 Cabin and our stay was satisfactory. We made do with what we had. We had to initiate all contact. Directions given were not correct for the direction we came from. When we called for clarification, we were disconnected. Owner never called back at all. A local in the area gave us correct directions. Electricity went out, due to a fallen tree in the area. Again, we contacted them. Electric company had been called. Owners never called us first. Cabin was clean, however, could use improvement. No table to eat or play games on. There was a shelf, with 2 bar stools, not adequate. Bathroom was ridiculously small. Cabin was hot when we arrived. 80 degree day and the a/c was off until we arrived. Several light fixtures had missing bulbs. Ice cubes trays all empty in the freezer. Lots to do in the area, enjoyed sightseeing. If owners put a little more effort into being more hospitable with cabin accommodations, I would definitely give our stay a higher rating. Q

Heaven on a hilltop

We enjoyed ourselves so much on our weekend getaway at this lovely cabin overlooking the lake! Seems the owners have figured out the formula for pleasing their guests; cleanliness, comfy beds, rustic interior and was everything we'd hope for .... and more!

Quaint, Hillside Cabin.

The check-in process was effortless and Pam was ready to assist us in any way possible. We wanted a few days away to ourselves, and it was great for that!
